If you end up having to brush some tangles out, it can get frizzy. The good news is, just add some hair serum or hair oil and it looks like new again! I love it. I do really like this ponytail: it doesn't look fake and I've received a lot of compliments on it when I wear it. However, for me, the point of wearing these kinds of hair pieces is because my hair has thinned out significantly in the last few years, and looks bad in a ponytail, but this clip is bulky, heavy, and pulls a lot on my natural hair, so after an hour it really hurts my head and I have to take it off. This greatly reduces the usability of this piece for me, because I can't wear it for my work day or even to an event like a wedding, as I can't wear it for any real length of time. I wish the clip at least was lighter, then the weight of the hair piece itself might not be as intolerable.

The ponytail itself is nice, soft, and lays well - Unfortunately, the smell was very concerning — it had a very strong chemical odor, almost like a harsh cleaning solution. I ordered three because my preferred vendor was out of stock, but I would definitely recommend washing the hair thoroughly before use. Honestly, it may be best to simply return it. Unfortunately, by the time I actually needed to use it, I had already passed the return window. I would not want anyone to be exposed to whatever chemicals may be causing the smell or risk having an adverse reaction.
