This is filthy low quality down that was literally killing me at night. I spent almost 2 months feeling agitated, sweating profusely at night, bloated and my asthma flaring up without reason. I even got tested thinking I had covid. Nope. Apparently there is such thing called “ feather duvet lung“ and it’s rather serious. I had been exposed to down in the last in hotels without a reaction like this. My doctor said this must be really dirty down feathers to cause such a reaction that quickly. After a week without it, my lung swelling has subsided and I am no longer wheezing. Please be careful if you have a lung condition. A blanket was literally killing me slowly at night. I always wanted a proper down comforter, but I didn’t want to fork over $150+ for one of high quality. When I came across this comforter, I was skeptical because of its low price. I was swayed by all the positive reviews and took a chance. I’m glad I did, this comforter was exactly what I was looking for. It’s advertised as lightweight, but this does have quite a bit of weight to it, although I have no problems lifting and moving it around. It’s so fluffy and soft, it’s like I’m wrapped in a cloud. I think the best feature of this is that the feathers DO NOT POKE THROUGH. I was almost certain there would be shedding, but I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn’t. The only flaw (if you could call it one) is that it does have a significant crinkle noise to it. It doesn’t bother me much, my duvet cover helped diminish the noise. As the other reviews state, if you spread it out and let it breathe for 6 hours, it seems to become magically more substantive, though it's not the big beefy down comforter that everyone says it is. I have 6 bedrooms and have bought a ton of down comforters. This one is above average in the "bang for the buck" category. I threw a duvet cover on it and it's in play. I feel pretty good about it. This is seriously the best blanket ever!! It's soft and fluffy and feels like you are covered in a warm lightweight cloud. What I love most though is the temperature control. At first I was worried that it was too light to keep warm on cold nights, but I was wrong. Now that the weather has changed and I have yet to install my AC it somehow still seems to be perfect. Super comfy comforter. It’s not quite as puffy and fluffy as it could be but it’s definitely warm without getting overly warm and comfortable. It’s a little heavy but not bad. Seems like a good quality blanket. Hasn’t lost any feathers yet. Would recommend.
