Some complain about the crinkling noise this makes. It does, but not so loud that it's annoying or wakes you up. Honestly, I never thought about it after the 1st night. It is light, not nearly as thick as my 20-year old down comforter, but keeps me warm with my bedroom at 62°, and not too warm in the summer. Very comfortable sleeping under this. So far, no leaks! Every day I toss this up in the air to make the bed and not 1 stray feather or dust. When I washed the duvet, there were 0 stray feathers inside, so the stitching and material are solid quality. I ordered this comforter with an open mind, because of the price. I wanted something thinnish and lightweight. Well, it’s not as thin as I really wanted, or light weight, but I don’t know if that’s a bad or good thing! It’s much better quality than I had expected! I have down comforters, and after a few years, the down does migrate and gets thin in spots, which is annoying, but I love the feel of them! This one is a little crunchy, and I think the weight comes from the outer cover, not the filling. But for the price, I’m keeping it! It’s a good little duvet! ... show more

This is a 600 thread count cotton comforter with minimum 75% goose down, per the tag. And it feels like it, the shell is finely woven and lightweight like you would expect from a higher quality Egyptian cotton product with quality tight stitches, and the down is soft and airy. No feathers poking out, slightly crinkly although not to an unpleasant level. A lot more fluff than I expected for lightweight, more of an all season but for ~$70 I am not complaining, you will not find a better deal anywhere. ... show more

I'm glad I came across this down comforter, it took quite a lot of hours to search through all the down comforters that are mixed in with down alternative comforters and read all the descriptions before finding this one. Even then I still was unsure. I don't know if this one compares to the ones that are $350 since I haven't really tried out any that expensive since I was a kid but I sure like it a lot. I had a giant pile of blankets on the bed including two fairly heavy weighted blankets and everything would be a tangled mess by morning and it made it hard to sleep through the night. I've replaced all that with a sheet, a heated throw blanket (so I don't have to get into a cold bed and that can easily be pushed to the side) and this amazing down comforter which I keep on the whole night. I've only had it for a couple days but the past two nights, I woke up and the sheet and electric throw were pushed to the side but I still had this on and it felt very cozy and just right in terms of warmth. I don't mind the crinkly sound and I think anything thicker than this one would end up being too hot to keep on all night. There are so many comforters out there that are advertised but very deceiving. You really have to look at pictures/videos and read the reviews, which I’ve been doing for almost a week now. I used to have a $250 goose feather comforter that lasted me a few years from Dillards and Ive been meaning to buy a new one, but I keep putting it off. I decided to give Amazon a shot to see if I could find one that’s more affordable. Sure enough, after all the reviews, I can’t believe I was able to find the perfect fluffy goose feather comforter in my price range and looks so elegant! It does have that crunchy noise but the fluffiness, coolness, yet warmth it gives is so worth it! Honestly, the crunch noise just gives it that AMSR and that cloud feeling just puts me back to sleep! We read a lot of reviews about the fact that people stated the noise it made, the crunch factor, however, I haven’t noticed that. It does a great job and seems to be good quality. I love this goose down comforter! It’s perfect! It’s warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It drapes both sides of my bed (not too short!)and fits my washed linen duvet! I will order another one for my other bedrooms. Seller please keep these stocked! Thank you
