This is a fine machine--when it has power. My primary use for this recorder is to record meetings. Sometimes these meetings might last three and a half hours. After recording a single meeting, when I set up the recorder for a second meeting the display says that the battery is at full strength but the recorder shuts down before the second meeting has concluded. Having the recorder shut down for lack of power before that second meeting has concluded means that I have to use the AC adapter even when it's inconvenient.
