I received this book for my oldest daughter when she was born in 1997. We read these stories to all 5 of our kids - they capture your imagination and take you to faraway places on grand adventures! I was delighted to find this copy for my first grandbaby - they are hard to come by!

I had never read the zoom books and so glad I decided to get this book for my daughter. The pictures are beautiful, the binding is of very high quality and the story is fabulous. This is one of her favorites right now!

This is a marvelous illustrated book. The artwork is finely detailed, subtle and clever: an absolute joy to look at. I was particularly excited to see this book when it came out, because I had seen the original ink drawings on display in Stratford, Ontario shortly before. The book is great for young readers to read... and the pictures truly are every bit as enjoyable for adults to view.
