As a person who has been sublimating for over 5 years, this product is the worst I've had. First, there are no instructions that come with the product. Second, the information on the sales page on Amazon doesn't give detailed information, such as the temperature and time used to sublimate this product. So, with the temperatures suggested by people posting reviews, I used their suggested temp and time. With only 3 notebooks to work with, the first one did not work. So, I used 2 other settings, and all came out bad! Each cover, front and back, wrinkled and warped. See the pictures (the 2 best out of 6). I had to return payment to my client and apologize for the unacceptable nature of their order. Since this was a Christmas present, he was unhappy, and my reputation was on the line; I also lost money over this.

Colors are great. However, these are incredibly difficult to put together! It took me about 30 minutes from time I started until the time I put 6 of them together. They’re also really pricey for cardboard covers and 50 small pages. The product could use some overhaul but they do sub brightly.

With only 2 written reviews, I went into this project with the expectation of testing on my first one. There indeed are no instructions which is why I’m giving a 4-star. However, I guessed right the first time and it sublimated perfectly. NOTE: You want to sublimate on the GLOSSY side. I did 390 degrees Fahrenheit at 50 seconds. Nothing melted or burned so I bumped it up to 400 degrees for 60 seconds and noticed nothing different. You’ll also see from my picture my alignment was a bit off and my design printed out poorly from the printer. So any defects you see were my own fault. Last note is on the binding that others thought was difficult. It takes a bit of wiggling, but I don’t know what else to expect from a spiral bound notebook. Took me 60 seconds tops to get both covers on. Overall, it’s a fine product. Exactly what I expected aside from no instructions. But hopefully this review can help with that.

The were not hardback as description says. Sublimated ok but definitely not worth the cost and I will not purchase again. I would not make these to sale or gift...I'll just make for myself.

So cute and sublimated great! I did the front and back of one to use for my sourdough notes. The only thing I would suggest is to lay the covers under a book or something to cool completely so they don't curl.

I bought these to make character signature books for my kids when we went to Disney. They were a dream to sublimate. I'm surprised at the quality as they stayed together the entire time, we were shoving them in and out of a backpack gathering signatures of all the Disney characters. I would definitely recommend purchasing these books if you are looking to make any kind of memorial gifts.
