Pro: This game is extremely easy to learn, very fast paced, and the more people you have the more fun it is. A very simple dice game that has the whole party excited with each roll. Con: For more advanced gamers it lacks a little depth, but the expansion helps with that a bit and it’s just so darn fun that replaying is never an issue, especially at a party or holiday with the family. Kids: I have a 7 year old and a 5 year old who play and love this game. They love plans vs. zombies so they love the zombie theme and love the idea of being zombies themselves. They got the rules very quickly and because it is a dice game, this is one of the few games our 2 year old can play with our guidance where the physical part of the game he does on his own. (just pick up 3 dice and roll). This helps when playing a game as a family that sometimes is too complicated for him. I would recommend it for a mature 5 year old and certainly for 6 and 7 year olds and older who like games. Other: Because it is a dice game, my brother who has Cerebral Palsy and struggles with fine motor control loved this game, because it was so easy for him to do physically. (He won a bunch of the games.) Overall: This game rocks overall, the only con I had was a slight one, and people who play it once or see it played usually get excited to continue to play it. This has become a family favorite, it is also a game we know we can break out at any time, with any crowd anywhere and have fun with. We had a ton of fun, yelling and cheering on Christmas day at my uncles house, it was a blast (shotgun that is )

Note: The drawstring bag shown in the pictures is not included. The pictures shown are for the basic set plus the two expansions, all of which neatly fit into the included plastic cup. Zombie Dice is a fun, interesting, brilliant, fast, and EASY game. With the two expansions, a total of eight possible permutations of the game is possible, allowing for a series of games with gradually expanding rules to be played. The drawsting bag is a necessity because mixing the dice in the cup is LOUD, obnoxiously and irritatingly loud. The cup is fantastic for storage but terrible for actual play. The rules sheets were poorly folded and easily ripped, so I scanned mine, printed them out double sided at appropriate sizes, and laminated and trimmed them so that they line the inside of the storage cup. If I were to add one thing to this set, it would be a Bag o' Brains from Twilight Creations. Of the twenty-five brain tokens. I would mark a '5' on nine of them. This would provide enough score tokens for a four-player game.

Great game! Bought it randomly, because I wanted an easy game that I could play no matter how many people were over and that's exactly what it is. Everyone who has played it loves it. For a simple game it still has enough complexity to make it fun. I would recommend it to anyone. Especially for the price. Eat brains. Don't get shotgunned. In Zombie Dice, you are a zombie. You want braaains – more brains than any of your zombie buddies. The 13 custom dice are your victims. Push your luck to eat their brains, but stop rolling before the shotgun blasts end your turn! Whoever collects 13 brains first wins. Each game takes 10 to 20 minutes and can be taught in a single round. Each turn, you take three dice from the box and roll them. A brain symbol is worth one point at the end of the round, while footsteps allow you to re roll this particular dice. Shotgun blasts on the other hand are rather bad, cause if you collect three shotgun blasts during your turn, it is over for you and you get no points. After rolling three dice, you may decide if you want to score your current brain collection or if you want to push your luck by grabbing new dice so you have three again and roll once more.

What a great game! I have an 8 year old who's just starting to get into horror stuff. She wanted this game because of the zombie on the front, but once we started playing the game, she fell in love with it. It's an easy game with simple rules that can be played quickly. You rack up brains (points) and if you get shot 3 times, you get none for that round. All other dice can be re-rolled. First person to score the right amount of points wins. I believe the instructions say first person to either 13 or 14 points, but my daughter and I have easily adapted this to a 30-50 point game when we were really in the mood to play. I would recommend this to any parent with kids over the age of 5. It's a great counting tool. The zombie drawing on the front is as graphic as anything in the game gets. The dice have a picture of a brain, one of a bang, and one of footprints. You could probably cover the cup they come in (and let your child draw on the cup), and tell your kids the pictures of brains are cotton candy or something. My daughter and I called brains "Points," Shotgun blasts "BANGS," and the footprints "Runners." Let your child decide what the brain shape looks like if you feel that "brains" is too graphic of a term for them. My daughter and I have had HOURS of fun with this time killer.

This set comes with the original zombie dice, instructions and a cup. No expansions, I deliberately bought them separately so I could get the cup. This is such a fun game. It's easy to learn and quick to play. It is great for families or parties. We play it all the time. I have purchased this several times for myself, friends and family. My only complaint is that the cup starts showing wear and tear pretty quickly but like I said, we play a lot. It's looks great and is definitely worth the money.
