Our kids love to draw and this gives them a different medium to experiment with. They loved seeing the colors appear under their scratch art and use the included stencils to expand their drawing abilities. Overall, this is a good product and our kids really enjoy using them. The only cons are that because they do scratch so easily, it's hard to pull out just one sheet without putting a little scratch in the black layer. Also, there are a variety of colors (pink, green, yellow, and multi colored) and it would've been nice if they had been labeled which section was which color because the boys weren't necessarily thrilled getting a pink one to try out and wanted to keep trying until they got a green or multi colored one, so a couple were wasted just trying to find the right sheet for them.

We got these to use as an activity for a 5-year old’s birthday party. These were a big hit and all the kids seemed to enjoy creating unique designs. It is best to use these outside since it gets messy when the black ink is scratched off. There are 50 sheets inside but only 6 scratchers which is problematic if you have a big group of kids wanting to use it or if your kids tend to misplace things. Overall, the product is nice and encourages creativity, but our recommendation is to include more scratching sticks in the kit.

This is a great product and value. Everything was as expected other than one thing: I was expecting all the scratch papers to be rainbow when in actuality each of the sheets are one solid color. Minor oversight on my part, although the packaging does make it a bit misleading by not explicitly disclosing that each sheet is colored differently. I love the stencils that it came with, a neat addition. Packaged well, not at all damaged upon arrival.

Black paper comes with 6 wooden sticks for scratching your design into it. So many pages and the sticks are thick and sturdy. Only thing is the stencils are very small and have lame outlines on them. A few animals, smiley faces, and cars or clouds. Not the best, but it's an addition that is decent.

Kid sized fun, when the sun isn't shining let them draw on the paper and reveal what is beneath. Note most of these are single color, not all are multicolored. The black can be harder to scrape so I would suggest pegwood / wooden skewers as the ideal tool to draw on these.
