This men's winter coat is a coat that is definitely warm and well-made. It's still summer where I live, but I did wear it around my apartment for a while to get a feel of how warm it is, and I was sweating almost immediately. It's long, too. It goes down to my knees (although I am a five foot tall woman) so it'll be so nice when the winter winds start to howl and the snow is a thick carpet on the ground. It gets stupidly cold where I live so it'll be nice for winter. As for the Sherpa fleece, I was a little wary about it, at first. I normally can't stand the feel of Sherpa fleece, but the stuff on this coat is nice and soft and doesn't feel like typical Sherpa fleece that's rougher and makes me shiver. The coat, for as thick as it is, is pretty lightweight. I didn't feel like I was being weighed down by the coat or like it was smothering me. The zipper works great, too, and zips up and down with no problems whatsoever. Also, the seams are straight and tight with no errant stitches or strings. The removeable hood covers my head almost completely so I'll probably remove it and just wear a hat instead. Overall, it's a nice coat and I'm excited to wear it during the cold winter months!

Since it’s in the 90s and 100s here, not a time to get to use this winter jacket, but trialing it indoors, it is well insulated, very warm and should stand up quite well to harsh winter cold. The jacket and hood are lined with a sherpa fleece, although note that while on the product page that fleece looks light brown or tan, the jacket I have the fleece is an off-white color. The hood is detachable, so it can be zippered on/off as needed. The hood also has a faux fur “fringe” for additional warmth. The jacket has a zipper but also can be closed in front using snaps, so you’re really bundled up tightly against wind. Cuffs are rib knit, so they also fit tight on your wrists, protected from wind, rain or snow. Since it is well padded, the jacket has a bit of heft to it, but in a good, solid way. The jacket has plenty of storage: you get a total of 6 pockets. Five of those pockets are located on the exterior, with a zippered chest pocket, two slash pockets for your hands, each of which are covered by a buttoned flap pocket. Then there’s also an inner chest pocket for more secure storage. One thing, the outer zipped chest pocket will accommodate a regular sized phone but is too small to fit a large phone (iPhone Pro, Pixel Pro/XL, Galaxy Ultra, etc.), which is too bad as it limits the usefulness of that pocket. You can actually cram and maneuver a larger phone into that pocket, but it takes time and effort and the removal of such phone is near impossible while wearing the jacket as you need both hands to manipulate the phone out of the pocket, taking well over a minute to do so. The inner chest pocket will hold larger phones with ease, it’s just more difficult to get to when the jacker is all buttoned/zipped up. If you’re between sizes or just on the edge of a certain size, better to size up as these jackets run just a little smaller than the typical US size. I usually wear a large in a winter jacket to provide a bit more room, but did go with the XL on this one and very glad that I did.

This jacket is definitely a permanent addition to my wardrobe for colder months! The sherpa lining is incredibly soft and keeps me warm even on cold, windy days. The outer material does a great job blocking the wind, and the water-resistant fabric has handled light rain and snow without any issues. The fit is true to size, with enough room to wear a sweater underneath without feeling bulky. The hood is well designed and provides extra protection from the cold, while the pockets are deep and practical for keeping my hands warm or carrying my phone, wallet, and keys. The jacket looks much more expensive than it is, and the stitching and overall construction feel solid and durable. It's comfortable enough for everyday wear, whether I'm commuting, running errands, or spending time outdoors. Especially at the discounted price, this is an outstanding value. If you're looking for a warm, stylish, and well-made winter jacket, I highly recommend this one!

I wasn’t paying attention when I requested this jacket. I thought it was a women’s size. So I ordered 2XL. My husband is an XL so he’s swimming in this a bit. I think it could work if you need the space to add layers underneath. I also tried it on and the shape is definitely more masculine, but fits as a 2XL. The tag on the jacket says everything is polyester though. Which I feel is a misrepresentation of the listing. So I dropped 2 stars to reflect that misrepresentation. Polyester traps moisture, so there’s potential of being sweaty and freezing at the same time with this jacket. It’s late Spring right now, so I can’t review on the actual retention of warmth. The design looks sleek and the tag says designed in Germany, made in China. It definitely looks professionally designed tbh. The fur at the top of the hood needs some fixing and fluffing after coming out of the plastic. It drops the quality look significantly. There’s also these interesting straps inside the jacket that isn’t explained. 1. Do you put them over your shoulders as a backpack?? 2. Do you ignore them and cut them off? 3. What is their purpose? Overall, I don’t feel confident recommending this product for practical purposes. It generally looks nice visually though.

What with summer having set in corresponding with the same time frame that I received the Zity winter jacket, I can’t give an accurate opinion as to how it will work in the coldest conditions in winter but I will say that the fit is great and it feels like it’s going to be a good jacket to wear. It may not be the one that I would grab to put on when it’s in the sub-zero’s but I have jackets for when it gets that cold out. What I do need is a good warm jacket for the 20-30 degrees regular winter day. This jacket will fit the bill perfectly. It should be warm enough with the snap front overlapping the zipper closure and the faux fur will help cut back on the bite of the wind around the face and neck. Since it’s always wise to dress in layers when venturing outside in the wintertime I ordered a size larger than normal to accommodate the additional bulkiness that that would entail and I’m glad that I did. There’s enough space for a thick sweater or heavy sweatshirt without any restrictive feeling that could hamper my movements. I would like to know the reason for the elastic straps that are attached on the back inside of the jacket though, one strap by each armhole. Color me baffled.

Deep winter does not strike fear into me - I have this heavy-duty parka and I am ready. And I have about 6 months to get ready-er for it anyway. I ordered a large, and it fits me exactly. I will have interior room for maybe an extra layer. Whether I need another layer is debatable, because this coat is hefty. It weighs about 4 lbs, which in the current hiker/climber phase/craze, is about 3 more than most. I do not mind since the design of this coat is for warmth first. It is made of all-synthetic materials. It can be machine-washed and hung dry. Like most deep winter clothing, it has a panel-backed zipper with outer snap overlap panel to virtually eliminate a zipper breezeway. I remember as a kid, virtually every coat I ever owned was Eisenhower-styled, and in 10 degree weather I could have both sweaty armpits and frost on my bellybutton. No chance of that here. The hood has faux fur trim, which is for show. I have a full ski parka with a natural fur trim so I know how well the real fur works vs any faux trim hood I've ever used. With real fur, my glasses do not fog up; with faux fur, they do. I don't know exactly why no faux fur will ever work like real fur, but it's a deal. I encourage anyone with interest to read up on it.

This parka is an excellent jacket for those who live in warmer climates but still get a short winter. Living in Texas where you may need a parka in the morning, a sweater in the afternoon, and shorts by evening, this jacket is perfect for this schizophrenic weather we have. The parka is very well made. Good stitching, nice material, great design - its just a nice jacket. Its also a little thinner than most parkas which is why it works great for me in Texas. I wouldn't wear this in Chicago in the winter maybe fall on a cooler day. I like that's its not too heavy or thick because I wouldn't be able to wear a thigh length jacket that was too heavy or warm. I just like everything about this parka - the fit is perfect for me. I got a small and I'm 150lbs and 5'4" and its the perfect fit. The arms are the exact right length which is so hard to find when you're on the short side. overall this is an excellent value for the money! I highly recommend this jacket to everyone male or female.
