I was so excited to receive my fence. The instruction book was easy to read. I noticed I was supposed to have 20 vertical slats. I received 13. Can't finish a fence with missing parts, so I can only do one fence piece, not two. I'm really disappointed.

It’s not very sturdy after assembly- I anchored it with a small rope, as we live near the coast. Having to assemble this from so many pieces wasted 90 minutes of my time, detracts from sturdiness, and added to difficulty placing (the stakes go in separately and you have to measure with some guesswork). Avoid, and get something already assembled or fewer pieces. Why they didn’t simply make fewer pieces (with the same volume), is beyond me. ... show more

Easy to assemble if you follow the directions. Building the lattice from scratch was a little tricky, though. Looks nice and feels sturdy.

These are nice panels, Assembly took me 45 minutes for both. Everything lined up and has predrilled pilot holes. You will need a Phillips screwdriver and don't recommend using a cordless driver to ensure you don't strip out the vinyl or aluminum pieces. The illustrated instructions are clear and easy to follow. These are the same PVC vinyl type fencing commonly seen at your local home improvement store, except made of thinner PVC. This comes with all needed hardware and connector pieces so you can attach the 2 panels to each other if needed. These have "C" channel aluminum stakes. If you have soft soil you should be able to theoretically push them in. If you like me it takes loosening the top soil, water soaking, then digging out hidden watermelon sized rocks to place them where I wanted. I'm hiding a large pool pump and sand filter, also my AC unit. Something nice is it really cuts down on the noise from both units when near them. I haven't had any strong winds yet to see how they fair, but they have a partial wind block from the house so may never be a problem. I live in the Phoenix AZ area and the heat and sun wreak havoc on plastics. I suspect they will begin to yellow after a year or so. The instruction manual states they can be painted with a specific Krylon for plastic, but warn against it for the higher upkeep and will void any implied warranty. When mine yellow, they will get painted for curb appeal purposes. I'm pleased with them so far. I wouldn't mind if they made a gate for them, to make easy access to my AC and pool pump and still allow full blockage. I need 2 more panels to hide what I need, and will end up building some type of gate. Hopefully this was helpful, Thank you! ... show more

This 2 partition screen comes in an impossibly small box and requires a lot of assembly, something that may turn off a lot of people. I enjoy building things like this and spent about an hour taking my time and putting the 2 panels together. Thankfully, no pieces were missing and they are pretty nice looking when finished. The panels come with long metal stakes to anchor them into the ground, but they aren't really solid enough if you plan to have them side by side as a privacy screen. If you install them at a 90 degree angle, they are a lot more sturdy and are a nice way to hide pool equipment or other backyard storage. You can mount one of the panels to a wall which helps the rigidity, and I would recommend that if possible. You could install each panel to another fence or wall, leaving a small passage in between to serve as a gateway. There's no gate but you could make one or just leave it narrow enough to walk through, to add a bit of privacy between your front and back yard. Overall, it's a decent quality fence. Just under 4 feet tall and probably something you could purchase already assembled at a home improvement store. But if this is your only option, it works fine as long as you are ok with putting it together. It may seem overwhelming at first, but once you lay everything out and understand how it all fits together, it's really not difficult or that time consuming since the panels are weather resistant and should last a long time if you install it securely. ... show more
