I ordered this ZIMASILK 100% Mulberry Silk Cervical Pillowcase hoping it would be better for my skin than a standard cotton pillowcase. The case arrives in an attractive, giftable package with "Spoil Yourself" embossed in glossy black ink under the gold foil embossed ZIMASILK logo. I really do feel spoiled. The silk quality looks and feels incredible. The material is thick; as 22 momme indicates it should be. To my inexpert senses, this seems to be the high quality silk that it claims to be. The Dusty Blue color is lovely. The stitching is very good and the zipper works smoothly and is nicely hidden but I still kept it on the opposite side away from my face. This case fits well, even after washing and drying it. It's easy to put on and take off. During the night the fabric does not wrinkle or bunch up. I took a chance because the pillowcase dimensions differ slightly from those of my cervical pillow. The way it fits my pillow causes the wings to be slightly compressed resulting in a little more loft. That's fine with me. My pillow that has some heft and used to stay put, but now it slides freely about especially when I sleep on my back. If I'm not careful, it can slide out from under my head while I sleep. Mulberry silk, I learned, is the finest type of silk. It's surprisingly breathable and hypoallergenic. (Wait, did I wake up with less bed head? I think I did!) Mulberry silk cases are thought to be especially good for curly hair. I did wake up with less flattened curls and less frizz. So far I haven't had "pillow rash" - that inflamed skin breakout where my cheek rests on the pillow. The daunting care instructions that are provided made me worry that the silk would be too fragile and fussy. Turns out it's not. I mostly followed the instructions and washed it inside a delicates bag in cold water on gentle cycle with my other cotton pillowcases (some of which are darker colored, which is not recommended). Then I air dried it indoors. It came out looking and feeling great! I did, however, use a very mild fragrance-free detergent for sensitive skin. So the type of detergent and how much of it you use may matter for good care. This is a beautiful pillowcase and a very good value for its durable, attractive quality. With proper care, I'm hoping that it will last me many years.

this is the best thing i've done for my hair in a really long time. and it's been a long time coming. this gave instant and lasting results. struggling with hair loss and thinning (i think my iron is low? but still) the cotton pillowcase i had was not doing me any favors. i also don't wear a bonnet, it always seems to fall off and they are mostly made of synthetic materials, though this company makes a pure silk bonnet i am certainly interested in nonetheless. so sure, this pillowcase is meant for a specific neck pillow, got it. but like.... it's still 100% pure silk fabric and a reeeally good rate per yard if you look at it that way at the end of the day. BUT! i just shoved my floppy old feather pillow into mine, and voila, it works all the same. given, this is not the largest pillowcase, not a standard size by any length of measure, still it is large enough to fit my small feather pillow and leave a little excess in those odd shaped curvatures, no biggie. gives me some wiggle room when i invariably turn over and don't always stay aligned. it's a supremely silky smoothe fabric that lets my head slide gently over the surface. the amount of moisture my curls have retained is remarkable. i'm so so sad i haven't done this for myself sooner. i should probably invest in the bonnet all things considered, but this pillowcase is a great first step in the right direction.

I received the grey color version and it fits very well to a matching cervical pillow. For year-round comfort nothing beats silk. This pillowcase was ordered for my wife who sleeps with a cervical pillow, and the case stays put on the pillow, providing stable comfort all night.
