Bottom line up front: These can save money and headaches by preventing electrical problems. They are well worth the money. The assortment of clip types will accommodate most any factory harness position or type of wire retainers. I am going to order a second bag. Read on for an immediate application and the outcome. We live in a rural area and have to perform most of our repairs and maintenance. In addition to up-fitting additional equipment for work trucks; work lights, inverters, radios and 12v power outlets. All of our trucks are 20 years old or older. Received these harness clips on Wednesday night, by Thursday morning had to make a repair on a jeep. The original clips keeping the oxygen sensor from rubbing against the exhaust was broken, The wire insulation had been damaged and was causing a "hard start condition". The wires were repaired and two new clips were installed to finish the job. The clips were very close in style to the original equipment. They snapped into place in the tabs, the wire tie (zip tie) cinched down the sensor wire. Both points were secure and were not coming out easily. The zip tie could be reused by releasing the locking tab with an elbow pick. The ties seem tough enough to withstand the engine heat cycles. The ties remained secured in the mounting tabs and didn't loosen after a long road test on a road that is so rough it can rattle the drivers teeth. Tried to take some pictures, working on the ground with limited space; the phone camera would not focus properly. We are going to up-fit a couple of items in the near future and will post some pictures with that project. ... show more

These are solid zip ties. A must have for a repair or new build. Don’t underestimate the the luxury of staying methodical and organized. Wire looms are a nightmare when they don’t get grouped properly, so much so that I learned the hard way and have regretfully almost quit a project because I had gotten to too far down stream on a lackadaisical wiring job, and because I didn’t properly secure the wires when I had the chance. I ended up cutting a bunch of them in multiple spots. After spending a month trying to fix what I had done I just had to give up and get a completely new ecu harness that cost me a grand when it was all said and done. Don’t be me, be free and lock up those wires with these guys. They are OEM grade I bent them., Hit them, and torture Des them to see if they show any weakness, but they stayed true and could be reopened and closed just as secure as the first time. I’ll make a video, when I get a chance. don’t over look the importance of these guys if you’re on a build. They are as important as anything in your ride! ... show more

I have installed a few lights on my truck as well as a tailgate electronic lock and each time I had to use some zip ties on different sires etc. I went back with these harness clips and fixed all of those harnesses so they now have their own fasteners. this set has a variety of different mounting options as well as different clips of just about any scenario. The clips themselves seem to be well made and held in great once installed. The black also blends in well with the existing mounting hardware so much so that its hard to tell what's been added and what came from the factory. I replaced required missing hose harness part from this set. Those OEM plastic clips and ties just got broken over time and require replacement. When you ask dealership for replacement the price would be higher for 1 such clip verses price for this set. Also install for the repair or replacement is easy. I also got 2 clips packs of 5 small size the same , instead 2 different sizes. Two clips, I got, are bad, without proper plastic locker, you may see at the attached picture, good is on the left and 2 bad on the right. So, QC for the set isn't at 100%.
