One of these reviews for this shoe says to size down, while the other says true to size. I'm here to say to buy the true to size. I usually wear size 9, but, depending on the brand, I'm sometimes 8 1/2. When I got them, I tried it on, and I instantly regretted not buying them in 8 1/2 cuz I thought they would be too big. But the more and more I wore them, I'm so very glad I bought them in size 9. I got them to be my work shoes, so if I bought them in the 8 1/2, my toes would crunched up together, or at the tip of the toes (even if just a little), all day. In conclusion: the toe area is roomy, initially, but thats a good thing as you soon to realize how nice it is when you start walking Side note: the clothes feels great, and the laces are nice. The soles do, however, feel a little flat, but nothing that inserts can't fix if you want ... show more

bright blue high-top converse shoes: On first inspection, the shoes look well made and match the website description, BUT you'll definitely want to size up! I usually wear a size 9 and the size 10 fits me very well, with just a tad bit of room to spare.
