I want to start by saying that this dress was an absolutely gorgeous color, and the quality was phenomenal. It was very soft and a pretty heavy Material. However, I did not like the style on me. In the picture it looked like more of a fancy holiday maxi dress, but I would not have thought of it as that on me. It may be because I’m much too short, or bigger than the girl in the picture, but it gave me a more Shakespearean vibe when wearing it. The sleeves were long and flowy, and at the top had almost a padded shoulder type of look. I usually like puffy shoulders, but I guess I don’t when the the entire sleeve is flowy/puffy all the way down. The elastic waist hugged at the worst spot for me that it accentuated my stomach. The dress was also quite long on me, it went to my ankles (I’m 5’0). And the pleats/ribbing of the dress made it seem more old fashioned than I would have thought in combination with it all. At least that’s how I felt I looked in it. I would definitely say the dress is more suited for taller women!! This dress fits just as you would expect and the fabric, though it doesn't seem especially top end, is pretty and soft and is a very beautiful green color. The skirt and sleeves are flowy, and drape nicely. The style is just a bit plain... there's really no detail other than the elastic waist detail. It's still pretty, but I will definitely be adding some larger jewelry when I wear it. ... show more
