The sweater is made of a thick material, not flimsy. It is soft, cozy and warm. It has a nice dressy, yet casual look to it. I love the zipper (it helps when those hot flashes hit). It is long and loose enough to cover that stomach pouch. And finally a sweater for the winter that offers more than dreary dark winter colors. The sweater did well in the wash and low heat in the dryer. It kept it's shape and did not shrink. So far so good.

It's obviously not a fitted sweater, which is what I was looking for so that I could wear something underneath - a long sleeve tshirt, sweater, blouse, etc. This sweater is perfect for that. I wanted to like this but ended up returning. The quality seemed nice, it was very soft and perfectly oversized but the sleeves were so bulky at the ends. It bothered me that the sleeves were rolled cuffs that were sewn in so they had to stay that way permanently. I suppose you could use a thread cutter to undo the stitching and unroll the sleeves yourselves, but the sleeves would have been too long had I done so.

Love this sweater! I love bulky, soft, and warm sweaters and this sweater didn't disappoint. I washed it right away to see if the sweater would shrink or pill. Love that it's machine washable. Although it calls for flat dry, I washed it in a gentle cycle and air dried in my drier and it came out perfectly. I'm going to order more in different colors.
