I have been using Zep Instant Spot Remover for about three years. This stuff truly does work. Even on ground in spots, you spray it on and instantly the spot is gone. It has been on a rare occasion I have had to spray a spot twice. It even works on blood stains. Holy s###.. This stuff really does work. I had two big spots and some small spots that where Staines on my carpet. In front of my eyes the spot pretty much dissolved. The two big spots I had I couldn't get out it's been there for at least over 2 or more years. Sprayed it on the spots about maybe a minute later gone I blotted it with a paper towel and also wiped the nap in different directions it's gone. I had marker stain on my kitchen counter. I still had my paper towel damp from the chemical so tried it on there and poof wiped right off ... show more

Had a long nasty sticky stain that crept down my hallway carpet and into my grandmother's room. It was probably coffee or chocolate or something that just made the afflicted areas feel yucky to step on. Real nasty, real bad. Was probably there for over a year before it got dealt with. The stain remover sat on the stain for a few minutes, I rubbed, and it took care of a lot of it. This stuff is ah-mazing. The cat had gotten sick on the rug and we'd tried a stain cleaner with a handheld Bissell spot cleaner mixed with hot water but it only spread the discoloration. I found this one in my box of household supplies and tried it and it worked like magic. I was so impressed I then spot cleaned all the dining room chairs and ordered another can. I had a bedroom carpet that was probably in need of replacement. It wasn't in horrible shape but it had spots of dirt that I had tried to clean with several other spot carpet cleaners.
