The wood I received was excellent, classic Zebrawood, and properly quartersawn. I had earlier bought some Zebrawood from another vendor (NOT Rockler) and was disappointed that the wood was flatsawn and rather plain. I will be buying more wood from Rockler now.

    • Zebra wood is so so...
Got my order and noticed that I will have to run it through my planer so I will be losing thickness the imperfections I hope will not be too deep. Other than it not being ready to use as other orders from sellers are I will not be buying from this seller again.

This is very nice wood with excellent grain. I cross cut the board into knife blanks and stabilized them with cactus juice. Once sanded, they buffed up to an amazing gloss. It is less expensive than standard zebrawood blanks, and the cross cut grain shows up nicely.
