It's cute, I wouldn't call it tummy control in any sense. I read the reviews for size and yes, size up. If you're between sizes size up from the larger size. I'm kind of an apple shape if I had to pick. The top fits well and the bottoms are passible, but a little tight.

This suit (3xl) runs very small. Unfortunately I washed it before trying it on. Ordered a (2xl) suit from Amazon last summer in a size smaller and it fit fine. Other than the fit, it is very nice.

I normally don't take the time to write a review, but I felt relief putting this swimsuit on. I have had to send back several from other companies. I appreciate that the sizing guide is accurate. The sizing is different than my normal sizing... so make sure you measure before ordering and you'll get the perfect fit!!! I love this swimsuit. It is very comfortable and the bottoms cover well. Highly recommend!!!!

Black & white Bathing suit came as pictured. Pretty patterns. 5’9” 185# 38C- the XL suit fit. The material band of the boy short was wide- but elastic within the band was thin and without much stretch. It barely went on. In contrast the leg holes were more generous than some. I did not plan to wear the boy shorts anyway-and bought the top to go over a skort bottom. Because the top was longer than expected it did not pair up with any skort length I had (tried 3). The top just about covered a regular brief bathing suit bottom and paired well with that as well as the boy short. The top fit well coverage wise, but the bottom bra band was riding up just trying it on. This one was not for me. The Navy Floral tie top suit was a keeper. Better fit at top and paired with my own skort bottoms well. The tie and straps (purple) are not the same color as the suit (Navy) but it matched my own bottoms. This boy short was a different cut. A bit more binding than the other. Note the top cuts in front under the arm to the strap. It fits more like a bikini top with a material front sewn onto it. You will see it in the product videos if you look. Bra padding for both suits was sufficient to do the job. Straps are fully sewn it. No option to cross them but they are adjustable.

I didn’t care for the shorts, seemed really small, compared to top and both were the same size. So I guess I would say size up one, unless you like the shorts up your crack! Support in top was good. Color was on point. Coverage in top was good.
