I bought these for the hospital while giving birth to my son. They are much softer than the ones the hospital gives you but they aren’t as thick as I was hoping they would be. If you walk on them for too long it feels like the anti slip pieces are digging into the bottom of your foot.

Only shortcoming -- too short for my size 9 feet -- length of the foot area was okay, but the tops are shorter than I would like. Oh well, they were not very expensive. Now I have something new and unused to donate to my local winter clothes drive.

This is the second set of the socks that I have ordered. With my first order, all the socks were well-made, warm and soft and stood up well to washing. This set was also warm and soft, but after one wash several of the socks raveled at the top. This caused them to lose elasticity which holds the sock up, deeming them unwearable. This problem will only get worse with more wearing and washing. I am very disappointed in this set of socks.

These socks are soft & comfy & my 99 year old Mom wears them everyday. They're perfect for summer to keep her feet warm on her wood & tile floors. They twist around her ankles when she naps & should last 1-2 yrs. She has thicker, sturdier socks for winter that remain in place thru naps & are 4 yrs old & going strong. They're more expensive so we have a good mix BTW the 2 brands.
