I'm in Salt Lake City and the A/C just could not keep up with the 90+ heat and intense sun that was hitting my dark blue paint and black interior. After sitting in the parking lot at my office all day, it would get up to 150+ inside, and 30 minutes later as I'm getting home, it was still 81 degrees inside after the A/C had been blowing max all the way. So I decided I needed to cover some of this beautiful top glass. Luckily, I've found that even just using the back panel over the rear seats is enough to allow the A/C to keep up for me. So I still get the benefit of a front passenger and I enjoying the glass roof in the front. Easy to "install", took me 10 minutes to get it sorted out while I was at a supercharger. Definitely recommend it, this is a great price point.

Husband was skeptical that it was just another useless accessory I “had” to have, but was impressed with how nice it looks and how much it really cut the heat in the car once installed. The grey matches the interior of our 2025 Model Y (Old body style), it’s really light and flush with the ceiling, and folds easily. A little bit of work to install the first time as we figured out where to put the clips and get them on the screen itself, but no gap in the middle or around the sides. Did I mention how much cooler it is in the car? We live in a hot climate and this cooked the interior noticeably. We installed it at a charging station waiting for our charge and he commented a few times about how much cooler it was even when installing it. Definitely would buy again. GREAT value…

The Zanch sunshade is exactly what every Tesla Model Y owner needs — especially for hot summers! I got it for my 2026 Model Y Juniper, and it fits perfectly. The magnetic design is brilliant — it holds firmly in place with no sagging, and the foldable panels make it super easy to install and remove when needed. Note: There might be folds or snags when the product arrives but they will heal over the time or use little heat for instant results. The heat insulation is noticeable. My cabin stays much cooler now even when parked in direct sunlight. The materials feel premium and durable, and the grey color blends well with the interior. Overall, it’s a simple but highly effective upgrade that makes a big difference in comfort. Definitely a must-have accessory for Tesla owners from 2020 through 2025 (and beyond)! The color doesn’t match inside my 2026 model Y. But it’s not super noticeable. It fits very snuggly around the perimeter. The magnet strength in the middle is very good. It was kind of a pain to install as you would pop in one side and the other side would pop out. Eventually, it came together but it was annoying to install. Definitely noticed my car isn’t as hot and not having glare is great, especially when my baby falls asleep.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I first purchased the Tesla shade but then found this one. I returned the Tesla one and saved a bunch of money going with this Zanch shade. Glad I did. Very easy to install. Great customer service. Shade works perfectly.

I like that this roof shade keeps the hot rays out, but it came wrinkled and didn't smooth out when we installed it. So not 100% happy with it. UPDATE: I originally posted the above review and upon reading my review, the company quickly reached out to me and made everything well and good. Knowing this company backs up their product and are incredibly helpful and kind, I can now say with 100% confidence that I would highly recommend this company as 10 stars if there was such a rating.
