Good value for the price. Install was simple. Considering the price, I understand it wasn't going to be the same as official google replacement parts. The adhesive, while functional, wasn't the expected pre-placed sheet but basic strips I had to cut and place myself. Still worked though, and I'm writing this review on the new screen. Worked fine... For 2 days. After that, a permanent white vertical line appeared from top to bottom out of nowhere. The phone was not dropped, hit or exposed to moisture. Very disappointed with the quality.

I guess it kinda works, but several issues. 1. My phone runs extremely hot with this screen, and battery life took a huge hit. 2. If I turn the brightness down, the blacks become gray for some reason making it difficult to see. 3. This is a 60hz screen, no mention of that in the product description as far as I could tell. 4. When using with a mag safe charger, the screen will go haywire registering phantom touches all over the screen. I haven't tested it with a regular wireless charger. 5. The corners of the screen struggle with detecting touch inputs. Very difficult to toggle the lock screen shortcuts. 6. Several times a day the screen will just become plain static (like the old tv static screen) for half a second. Maybe I just got a defective unit, but there were multiple mentions on the box and included pamphlet that this unit has been thoroughly tested, so not really sure. Amazon was willing to replace it with a new screen but I just bought a new phone since I didn't want to deal with this.

This is a good replacement screen for the cost. I do find the touch response a bit slow, but that could be the screen protector. The backlight is not great, so it can be difficult to see the screen in bright light. It doesn't come with the finger print sensor, but it you are careful, unlike me, you should be able to transfer the one from your old screen. Very easy to install, I found the glue strips to be adequate. The screen tools that came with it are good and I could see them coming in handy again.

I've always purchased these based on price... But the last time I needed it faster so this wasn't the cheapest option BUT IT WAS AMAZING. I've changed my screen out three times and this was hands down the easiest and smoothest with all the wonderful tools that comes with!! Worth the extra money. Took me all of 10 minutes to change it out!!

The screen itself held up through shipping and the Box they have it packed in as sealed very well the little screen protector is also nice and very bad at the same time but if you don't have one then it's kind of nice it was cheap but I guess you get what you pay for because it did not even make it one full day and it's already having issues and has a white line all the way through the screen, the phone was just sitting on my desk because it's basically a work phone and the only time I would use it is when I'm working so I sit it down and it's fine and then I received a text message and look down and it was still fine but as I picked it up to flip upwards on the screen a white line appeared, on the plus side the phone is still usable and the screen fit perfect so at least I can still access the information on the phone until I can get a better quality one..... Also this phone says it's compatible with a thumbprint reader but you will have to scrape the reader off of your old screen or buy a new one because it does not come with one Also they send way more tools than necessary to do the job, the little metal triangle and the guitar pick are going to be your best friends when removing the screen and then if you have a hot air gun or heating pad or any way to warm up the glue will make your life a lot easier too
