We got this specifically to be used as a lightweight portable sewing kit and it works well. It is plastic, but the hinges, handle and latches are stronger than you might associate with a plastic item. It's a tackle box design which is convenient for smaller items but the bottom part is not deep (3 1/2 inches), so larger items won't fit. Overall, it's very practical and of decent quality.

The idea of an organizing art box is great. I was excited to get this so I can carry all my markers, color pencils, and crayons in one box for class. Once I put all my things in and picked up the box by the handle, I felt uncomfortable because the clasp felt very weak and felt like it might pop open if the contents is slightly heavy. I added a large elastic band around it when I used it for the first time to keep it from opening in case it would. After using it for a week, the trays inside started "drooping" on one side. I tried changing the markers and things around and taking some out to see if it would help, but nothing helped. I also can't figured out why it was "dropping". It opened fine but as soon as I closed it, it would droop on one side. I am rather disappointed in this product.

Tough to find the perfect solution for all the little bits and pieces to keep organized for so many different DIY and crafty projects - and this is my perfect container! It's super lightweight, great size to fit on the linen closet shelf next to my sewing "basket" (square, fabric) and see through so you don't have to guess the contents. Fits my watch repair items kit (the pandemic made me a watch battery-replacement expert ;), metallic markers (repairs to gold and silver frames, etc.), jewelry wire and so many other items. It's pretty much the old toolbox my dad had but lightweight and clear = absolutely perfect for me! A great product!!

This is a very easy to use storage box. I like that it opens up like a small fishing tackle box. It has a lot of small compartments on the three levels, that really helps keep me organized. It is a little light weight but for my needs it will be all right. I like that it has a handle on top so it makes it easy to carry. I love opening it and being able to see everything I need which makes my work much easier, just grab what I need without searching and searching through a drawer. Has really helped with the frustration level of not being able to find my small parts. I really like this design and I like the color white and clear plastic. Very handy organizer.

This is a White Craft Art Organizer Storage Tool Box with 3 Layers & Handle that I received awhile back & have been utilizing. It has a placed to put a lock in the front but I’m Not certain at just how efficient this would be. The box is plastic after all. It appears to be well made with good front closure & a 3 layer fold out storage area. I’ve included several pictures.
