This is what a king size quilt looks like on a 30" tall queen size bed. The material is soft and cool to the touch, just like cool bed sheets in the summertime. It's thin, yet feels like it will be durable. There are wrinkles in it from the packaging, so I'm not sure if they'll be better or worse after washing. we are going full-time living in a RV doing cross country. Got this for our bedroom set. Truly love our quilt. It is comfortable. It goes good with our bedroom design. Of course I do recommend you wash it and dry it before putting on your bed because it is very stiff at first.
