I used it on my last trip for white perch. it was a good size to catch the fish and folds up nice and small in my aluminum boat for storage, but the net is not coated, which if the hook snags the net while pulling in fish, it takes longer to unsnag the hook from the net. the net also absorbs a lot of water. the inside of my boat got soaked. After a while, as I would net fish, I would shake as much water off as I could before I put the fish/net in the boat. Ill use it until it breaks, but my next one will surly be coated. ... show more

I got this for my Quest Angler 10 plastic pontoon boat because it folds up and is small. Its the perfect size for the boat. Tucks away until you need it. I dont catch alot of big fish, maybe 3 pounders at the biggest and it works great. Dont know how it would do above that but it feels pretty sturdy. I have no complaints with it. ... show more

I ha e been using mine for a year now and it is still good as new. My only complaint is the belt clip isnt reliable. The net will shift and open while walking. If it comes in contact with brush or even water if you are wading then it will come off. I have had to circle back a few times because I didn't notice it fall. Better than what I expected!!! It will land fish for sure, not something that will last a lifetime but it will do for a few seasons. Only thing I found that was kinda odd is that there is a key ring connecting the net to the pole at the base. O well overall like I said it will works
