Mon Paris is announced as a dazzling fragrance that represents a modern olfactory interpretation of love, free from all the obstacles, dedicated and intense. The composition has a fruity start, intoxicating floral heart and a dark chypre base. It opens with a juicy and sweet blend of Calabria bergamot, strawberry, raspberry and pear. The heart is dominated by datura flower accompanied by a bouquet of peony, Chinese and Sambac jasmine and orange blossom. Airy crystal white musk (three types of it), ambroxan and an intense patchouli duo (from Indonesian and Guatemala) provide the provocative classic chypre signature base. Best blind buy
I just received it and opened it. I have a lot of parfums since toilettes are too weak for me. Im in my late twenties with an office job and I party on the weekends so I usually buy fresh or sweet colognes. I also have a lot of Arabic ones from the Hawas and Afnan lines too. This one is very good; it's fresh, a little fruity, and it has that designer smell that I can't explain which usually Arabic parfums miss. You just smell like you put on a 2000 dollar Gucci jacket when you spray this on. The ginger smell is not as pugnant as it in on Imagination. This is fresh and the apple comes around in a sweet manner accompanied with lavender but in a masculine way. Best parfum to get blindly. YYYYYYYYYYY NOT lol hence the pun.

This is a spectacular buy! My girlfriend bought this for me as an early birthday gift, and I’m honestly tempted to start using it before my birthday. When she first let me smell it, I couldn’t believe how good it was,I immediately couldn’t wait for the actual date to wear it! I highly recommend that every man have this in his collection. Great scent profile, not a fake.
The bottle I received is the real deal, not a fake. The price of this compared to retailers is a steal. The scent is one of my all time favorites. Longevity is about 5 hours if I overspray. If you're looking for beast mode this is not it.

Excellent Everyday Fragrance with Outstanding Performance, but a Bit Too Popular
Yves Saint Laurent Y has earned its reputation as one of the best modern designer fragrances, and after spending plenty of time wearing it, I can understand why. It combines freshness, sweetness, and woody depth into a fragrance that’s incredibly versatile and easy to enjoy. While I don’t think it’s quite deserving of a perfect score, it’s still one of the safest blind buys in men’s fragrances. The opening is immediately bright and energetic. You get a crisp burst of juicy green apple, fresh bergamot, and spicy ginger that creates a clean, uplifting first impression. It’s fresh without smelling like a typical citrus cologne and has just enough sweetness to make it stand out. The apple note is particularly well done—it smells crisp and natural rather than overly sugary or synthetic. The fragrance was created by Dominique Ropion and Claire Liégent, with notes including apple, bergamot, ginger, sage, juniper, geranium, amberwood, tonka bean, vetiver, and frankincense. As it begins to develop, aromatic sage and juniper berries come forward, giving the fragrance a masculine, clean “fresh out of the shower” quality. The herbal notes keep the sweetness under control, making it feel refined instead of overly youthful. This is where Y shines—it maintains its freshness while adding complexity. The dry down is smooth, warm, and slightly creamy. Amberwood, tonka bean, vetiver, and a touch of frankincense provide a woody backbone with just enough sweetness to keep things interesting. It remains masculine and modern without becoming heavy or overly smoky. The transition from the bright opening to the warm base is seamless, making it enjoyable from the first spray until the very end. Performance is excellent for a designer fragrance. I consistently get around 8–10 hours of longevity with strong projection during the first couple of hours before it settles into a pleasant scent bubble. It easily lasts through an entire workday and still leaves traces on clothing well into the next day. It’s one of those fragrances that gets noticed without overwhelming everyone around you. Community reviews similarly praise its longevity, projection, and versatility. One of its biggest strengths is versatility. Whether you’re going to work, heading out for dinner, running errands, or attending a semi-formal event, Y fits almost every situation. It works in every season, although I think it really excels during spring, fall, and cooler summer evenings. The bottle is also excellent. The thick glass, dark blue gradient, and silver Y wrapping around the bottle give it a premium look that matches the quality of the fragrance inside. The reason I can’t give it a full five stars is because of how incredibly popular it has become. Chances are you’ve smelled this DNA before, and if you’re a fragrance enthusiast with a larger collection, it may not feel particularly unique. The opening can also lean a bit sweet for those who prefer extremely fresh or citrus-forward fragrances, especially in very high heat. Overall, Y Eau de Parfum is one of the easiest fragrances to recommend. It’s clean, masculine, versatile, and consistently earns compliments. While it may not be the most original scent on the market, it delivers exactly what most people want in an everyday signature fragrance.
