I bought this because it said it was flannel. It is not it is a velour. It wouldn’t absorb water if you were getting out of a hot tub or pool I didn’t even open the packages because I need cotton or flannel so the description has two different descriptions of the material.

Material is great,, however, they made this medium-sized robe for extremely obese men. It wraps around me two and one-half times. There will be additional cost now for me to have this robe tailored so that it will fit me. If you are not obese, do not buy this robe.

This robe is just what I was looking for. As a larger individual, it's difficult to find a good, long, fluffy robe, that actually fits! This does all of that and has a hood! The green and black colors are vibrant and appealing. The material is super soft and plush, it is warm and comfortable. The belt is long enough to go around and tie and hold the robe closed! Why is this such a low standard that others can't meet. I don't know. I am 6' tall with all my height in my legs (32" inseam) and this falls to the mid calf on me. This is another feature I wanted. The fact that I can sit in this robe and it doesn't ride up past my rear is amazing. About the only thing I would like is for it to be a tiny bit heavier. While it is warm and cozy, it is fairly light weight. I'll have to see how it handles winter locally and update if it ends up beating my expectation for being light weight!

This is a nice robe. It is very very soft and it’s double-sided — both the inside and the outside are the same super soft. It’s not very thick though. This means it’s lighter weight and has a nicer drape… but it’s not as warm. I still find it to be super cozy. It’s advertised as a Men’s robe. I’m a woman, I’m 5’10” and wear Women’s size 12/14. I ordered L/XL for two reasons: I wanted it to be generous enough to wrap around myself without gaping open; and I wanted to be able to wash in a hot machine wash and warm dryer without shrinking. The L/XL is perfect. It washed really well with no noticeable shrinkage and it fits just right — large enough to wrap myself up in… but not too big.
