    • Good quality video, angle view is not so big for up close recording
The media could not be loaded. I bought 2 cameras. It took 20 minutes max to set up the WiFi on my first camera, the second one was much easier. Video quality is very good, even the night vision. I wish the angle was wider, especially for up close views. I just have to adjust the camera angle with the remote and that is a feature I love and is easy to use. Sound quality, seems fine but as of right now I do not need sound. I had one slip out of my hands and it broke, so this is very fragile camera. I do not subscribe to the cloud portion just yet but it does come with a micro SD card. I have had this for a bout 3 weeks and no real issues. Pros: Clear videos, day and night. Reasonably large viewing angle, ability to control left-right/up-down major plus for live viewing. Good daylight colors, decent night time viewing (had better ones from other cameras). Reasonably easy to set up. Decent as a live camera setup Cons: wifi reception not that good (had 2 other brands in similar position, they locked onto the wifi steadily - this camera drops Wifi occasionally., causing it to have to reset app App is slow to respond - lags and in combination with poor wifi, have to reset often The camera does not save default position - so if the camera moves to track motion, it doesn't seem to come back to "home" position - it randomly does, but mostly doesn't Two biggest problems in my mind: the playback on SD card is impossible to use - on continuous recording mode, it is quite impossible to jump to a desired time period - it keeps defaulting back to starting of day (midnight), which makes the continous recording kind of useless. Hard to go to "time of interest" The other problem is a slow(er) response time to motion, making the video capture not very complete (especially on motion capture mode). ... show more

    • Can’t get it to turn on after power outage
I really loved this camera. It worked well did everything I needed it to do, but we had a storm and we had a power outage so the camera went off-line and I did try to reset it but the camera won’t even turn on.

    • Good but has an issue
It works really good, has a good image, of course for the price you wouldn't expect a professional quality of the image. The only issue is that I have tried a lot to make it work with the sd card since I placed in a place far away were is no good internet signal, but couldn't do it. Tried with different SD cards, even the one that came there but no success. I really need to record so I ended up placing it near the wifi signal, and I am paying a 3.90 plan to get up to 7 days of recording on the cloud which I have access through the app. ... show more

This is nice but I can't use it because it is sending up my light bill due to the reason that the light switch have to be on at all times for it to work. I gave it away. I would more need a solar cam instead

I have to say I have been buying wireless cameras for years and this one is pretty good. Connection is good quality is good and it is very responsive. It has intelligent surveillance that follows motion pretty well. I have to say even to try a camera if you are unsure for the price you cant go wrong. I believe the best cameras to have are wired which I have at my home, All wireless cameras are ok but wired is the best. But this camera shocked me really good camera for the price. I ended putting in an area my wired cameras have no view and it worked out perfectly. Easy set up, easy app and they give you the option of cloud service you have to pay for or memory card with no monthly fees what other camera gives you that. Most companies want to sell you a crappy camera so you buy their cloud service. Don't over think this one it does exactly what it says it does. If there are really poor reviews on this camera it is because some people never had wired cameras before or just do not have the tech abilities to set it up. ... show more

I bought these for a vacation home which is too far for me to reboot manually. There is no way to bring it back online with app. Very disappointing. Will need to replace them. I am paying for one year cloud service which will not use since I can't get to the cameras

    • Great, except for software
I received a postcard, ostensibly from Amazon, offering $25 to provide a 5* review. I wish that I could provide a 5 star review, but I can't. I was disappointed. The camera is designed to be placed in a light socket, for example, on the porch. I used it in my living room to check on my cat. But I ran across two problems. 1) The phone notifications of movement are linked to the company's online storage, which is expensive, and not to onboard memory recording. It is possible to see the recordings stored on the memory card, but it is awkward to do so. 2) When I checked the onboard memory recording, the indicator of when the movement occurred was missing. 3) The camera seems to default to face the wall and not where I last pointed it. That is, it reset itself constantly. I also have TP-Link cameras and their software is far superior. On the positive side, the image quality is excellent, both during the day and at night. The onboard "security" light is a plus. The camera may work well for others, but not for my needs. ... show more
