I purchased these after having trouble finding a) shorts that weren't long enough b) shorts that were very thin and didn't help in colder weather and c) shorts that didn't feel plastic. Long story short, I am an amputee and I don't like having shorts that show off half of my thigh, rather leave something to the imagination, because of my disability I am often having to wear shorts in colder weather where one would opt for longer bottoms, these shorts helped give me some extra and much needed warmth. I read reviews about the pockets being small, but on the pair I recieved I found the pockets to be a fair size, I can put my cellphone in the front pockets and it won't fall out, even unzipped. I washed these a few times to see if they held up decently and so far no changes, I am ordering a few more pairs and if I see any differences I will change my rating. I would have liked a little more length to them, so I gave them 4 stars, also the string is a little too long, almost as long as the shorts themselves. ... show more

Bought for my husband the end of last summer so he did not try on. He gained weight so I tried them on and the Large fit me perfect. I wear womens 10/12. So comfy. I washed/dried for the first time on cold/cool. The color faded.

If you are like me, if I find a comfortable pair of shorts or a shirt, I will buy a few in other colors. Here is a perfect example, these shorts. I have the blue and the gray, and I have had them now almost 2 years and they still look the same, no fading, no shrinkage, and no fuzz balls. It’s only now, that sadly one if the zippers broke on my blue ones, so yes, I am reordering them. These run a little big, I thought I needed a medium, and they were too big, so I have a small. My ask, if the manufacturer is reading this, make some other colors like red, dark grey, and maybe a light blue, food for thought. Otherwise I can’t say enough sbout the comfort, do yourself a favor, buy all three colors. ... show more
