These wire shelves look fairly similar to other wire shelves I've purchased from Amazon & HD, however, the actual shelves themselves do not feel as sturdy as the others. Also, the wheels on this unit are not as sturdy as the wheels on the others I purchased, they look and feel flimsy. Time will tell how well the wheels will hold up with basically light moving around. For now, these shelves will serve my purpose. If I were to use shelves for heavier use, such as in the garage and more weight, I would suggest heavier and more commercial grade shelves that usually come with larger & heavier wheels. So I'm this cabinet area measures EXACTLY 15*14 I definitely had to scratch the paint to make it fit but objectively it is PERFECT as I have no plans to move it ever. This used to be a laundry shoot that was closed off before we bought our house in the basement. But not the bathroom. 😂 I wanted usable space!!! we’ve had these shelves for three years now approximately anyway, we have all our kitchen gadgets on them. We also use the other one for food pantry, and they are very sturdy. I would suggest ordering the covers makes it easier for things to not tip over.

I bought three of these in November for a project that I did not get to until after Christmas. The boxes did have a few spots of light damage but nothing that I was concerned about. However opening the first box I found that there were tons of spots in which the shelving pieces were bent. It was not enough to render it unusable but does call into question the integrity of the materials. I've included several but not all of the examples of bent shelving parts. I set the first one up next to another brand of similar shelving and quickly noticed the difference in thickness of the metal wiring that composes the shelves. I have included a side-by-side picture of me trying to demonstrate the difference. I started to place items on the shelf and noticed how much the shelves sagged with minimal items on it. I have included a video that shows how much movement happens with very little pressure to the shelves. Overall, I got these when they were on sale which makes them worth the price I paid. However I would not have paid original full price for these. I am going to have to do some maneuvering so that I can still use these as they were intended to hold my canning jars, canners, and other like equipment. But they will not hold the weight I intended them for. Considering the height and width of this shelving it ends up wasting a lot of space because I cannot place much on each shelf. ... show more
