I like this product. I keep the metal rod in the freezer and when I take it out, it is ice cold. The pouring top screws on when you’re ready to use it. Don’t put the pouring top in the freezer. The frozen rod will keep the liquid chilled and the pouring spout will aerate the beverage. The liquid will come out a little slower since it’s getting aerated. I can taste the difference.     • Cool idea but poor function
The idea of this is what sold me but the product itself doesn’t last long. It’s great for one pour but after a few minutes, this doesn’t do much.

I love this thing! On occasion however, the metal rod is too long for the bottle if the bottle has a deep indentation on the bottom that extends high into the bottle. My problem came in storing it in the freezer. Got a new fridge and it fell through the wire shelving onto the floor and broke. I bought it again along with some stick-on, metal cup hooks that I stuck to the side of my freezer wall. Problem solved. It never gets lost or buried, always visible... and there it waits for me to crack open another bottle!
