I researched a lot of foam play sets for my toddler and “settled” on this one. I debated between this one and the Nugget. I decided on the play gym because the pieces looked more fun, and seemed like it had more building options. Once it arrived and I opened it up, it did not take long for it to expand to the full size. I purchased this with the intentions to give to my toddler for Christmas. But once it expanded, I had to give it to her right away! And she has absolutely loved it! It fits in her play space perfectly. I wish it had an adult size because I would buy one for myself! The quality was definitely better than I thought it would be. 100% worth the investment. Compared to the popular nugget the foam isn’t quite as rigid and the material of the cover isn’t as soft, but it’s not like my 18m old is noticing the differences so it gets the job done. I purchased this for $128 which is almost half the price of the nugget, but I see that the price has risen significantly. It may have to do with the fact that Costco picked up this brand. If it was still $128 I would buy a second set to add more variations to the setup, but if the price is this close to the nugget, I may just pay a little more for the higher quality. ... show more

This has been a lifesaver for us since purchased. Our 10 month old loves to play on this and have a little area to crawl around in. Our living room is mostly hardwood floor, so having this as a soft surface for him to play, crawl, and climb on has been huge for his development. Couch was ready to go out the box and is super easy to pack up and put away. It comes out when he gets home from daycare, and i put it away after we put him to bed. Takes less than 5 mins total. My 3 and 5 year old enjoy it and it’s a great nugget dupe. My main complaints are that the corners of the foam never fully expanded after being vacuum sealed. It’s been over a month and the corners are still smooshed in. The other issue is that the fabric also seems to have permanent marks or wrinkles where it wasn’t smooth when it was vacuum packed. Save yourself the money and buy this one instead of a Nugget. It is EXACTLY the same! It’s fairly high quality and the fabric brushes microfiber is great for hiding stains. My daughter is trying to climb and crawl now and she absolutely loves climbing all over it. The cushions are great because they make it super easy for her to pull to stand. Wishes: — Waterproof cover — my daughter drools a lot because of teething and I can’t imagine it’s not soaking through into the foam, which will smell after a while. — Sell replacement cover options! I have to wash the covers at least once a week and she can’t use it at all while I’m washing them. I wish there was a second cover I could change it into when I’m washing. — Prepare for a wrestling match getting the foam back into the covers after washing! 🥵 — I wish the zippers were the thicker, higher quality. I was just waiting for one to break as I was wrestling the foam back into the covers after washing for the first time. Just as good as the name brand imo. I needed something less expensive and this is really great quality. We let it rise for a few days and after a week or so of use, the wrinkles worked themselves out. My dogs play on it sometimes too and the fabric doesn't rip or anything.

Kids play with this daily. Always building forts or jungle gyms with it. Very sturdy and can take a lot of jumping, squishing, and rolling on it. I didn’t notice a smell when we opened it. It took a day to fully expand, one larger section is thicker than the other.
