This review is for the play gym version: We have two friends who have nugget couches and I've been wanting to invest in one for a couple years now. We finally decided to buy one for Christmas but I wanted to look for a more affordable option without sacrificing quality too much. After looking through a ton of different brands, I landed on this one and I'm SO glad we ended up with this. Here's why I firmly believe it's hands down better than the nugget -- for one, it's thicker and more durable. It's built to be more of a play structure rather than just a couch that can be shaped into a fort. With the nugget, yes, you can make a slide but it's flimsy and you can only make it one size unless you have two nuggets. And even with two nuggets (like one of my friends has), the slide bends with the weight of the child. With the play gym, not only is it a solid slide but it actually has material on one side that makes it easier to slide down. The play gym also has thicker pieces than the nugget which makes it way more durable for different forts and set ups. You're not dealing with walls that cave in or bend like you do with the nugget. And because of that durability, you can make way cooler structures with this than you can with the nugget. It's just all around a LOT more open for creative freedom and way more versatile and fun. It's so sturdy even my husband and I can play on it too! Lol I also love the green color and it's extremely comfortable. I'm currently very pregnant and it still passes the comfy test. It shaped up very quickly as well. It's been out for 48 hours now and almost all the wrinkles are gone. I think the manufacturing states 72 hours or something like that. It does not have any weird smells at all. Amd I love that unlike many of the off brand couches, the play gym doesn't have a bunch of extra unnecessary pieces. Every single piece serves multiple purposes and you can do so much with the couch without all the extra mess and hassle of setting up a bunch of different parts. And of course, in its most basic form, it makes a wonderful kids couch. The size is great. I was worried it'd be a lot smaller than I expected but it's not. It'll grow with my daughter for many, many years to come. HIGHLY recommend.

I think this is great for kids. When I was looking around for a more affordable alternative to the Nugget brand, I ultimately decided on this one. I think it’s important to note that this listing has 2 different sized options. You need to pay attention to which one you select. I chose the larger of the two options and it’s really nice for what it is. The larger one has the same measurements as the Nugget brand. I think it was worth the sale price I paid. It’s large and the foam inside is pretty dense and sturdy. The covers have zippers for easy removal to clean. There’s also a little handle on the 2 large cushions when they’re folded in half that my kids use to carry them to a different spot. When I opened the package and got them out of the vacuum sealed bags, they seemed to puff up quickly. Definitely after 24 hours they were perfect, but they were already good to use within 5 minutes of opening them. My kids have used this every single day since I gave it to them.

I purchased a different modular couch and was so disappointed. This couch is far superior in build and fabric quality. The cushions are soft enough that they feel nice to touch but strong enough to stand up to kids being rough. I’ve washed them a few times and they’ve done well. I haven’t put them through the drier for fear of shrinking them but they did well in the wash and then air drying-they air dry pretty fast! The color was true to the picture and I appreciate that the zipper is the same color. My 3.5 yo loves it and as a sensory seeker he makes really great use of it. There wasn’t any weird smell out of the box which was nice too. The size was as expected from the pictures. Overall so happy with it!

Such a nice product and looks like it’s listed. The only problem with it, is we had to wash it due to the smell when we received it. The bright side, it was easy to wash the covers! Easy zip on and off! It’s comfy and our whole family (adults included) love it

I bought this for my kids in January 2024. Boy, do they love it. This thing has been used over and over daily since then and has held up very well. The piece sizes are perfect for kids and light enough that they can build on their own. Literally, my youngest is 18 months and pulling the pieces herself. It’s very comfortable and durable, this thing has been used as a slide, dancing stage, etc and the pieces are still in good shape. I’d highly recommend this, it’s a great value and the pieces are more fun/buildable than other brands out there. I like to think of it as my kids “adventure furniture”.

We bought this as an addition to our playroom to help keep our 1-year-old entertained and engaged for longer. It’s been such a great purchase! The couch setup is currently our favorite, but we love how many different ways you can shape and play with it. The zip-off covers make cleaning super easy, which is a huge plus. It does take up a fair amount of space, so if your play area is on the smaller side, definitely keep that in mind when choosing your size or setup.

This was a delivery nightmare. I purchased this for Christmas 2024 in November. It arrived…literally just showed up in January of 2025. Our grandson enjoys this couch, actually the family is enjoying it. Super light which allows our grandson to be creative when he plays with it. No issues in cleaning or functionality. Recently Mom and grandson had a sleepover in the living room. I’m so glad we didn’t cancel this gift. Fortunately our 1 year old at the time, didn’t have a concept of the holidays.
