Let me start by saying that the Yourigami couch is not in any way bad, this is just an observation that it is not same as the Nugget like many here are saying. The Nugget is thicker and slightly bigger than the Yourigami couch. You can see in the pictures that the Nugget triangular pillow (beige color) is larger and has rounded edges unlike the Yourigami (grey). Also, when I purchased the Nugget it got to its original size and no wrinkles within an hour, but the Yourigami as you can see is still wrinkly after 24 hours of being open. But, on the instructions they did say it takes about 48 hours - 2/3 weeks so there’s still time. One thing that I will say is that if you have the Nugget and want to get another one to build more things to play, Yourigami may not be a good option because of its size. Although it’s slightly smaller, when you build something it is not balanced out and my toddler fell numerous times because it’s 2 different couches. But if you don’t own the Nugget, this is a great option at much cheaper price, and you wouldn’t know the difference unless it’s side by side. You get the same experience so take that in to consideration. The only reason to pass would be that it’s not the same size and also they don’t have any cover options if you want to buy that separately. UPDATE: After owning the Yourigami couch for a week I decided that I made a mistake getting it 😓 it really doesn’t hold any build because the foam is too squishy. It doesn’t work with the original Nugget because the size is different, and it’s pretty much useless for a toddler for plays. I can see smaller kids (babies) playing on it or it just acting like a couch. But if you want to do builds, and create anything other than a couch it’s useless. Even when you use it just like a couch it’s not good quality. It’s still wrinkly and the foam seems to sink. Now I can’t even return and so that means money down the drain. Bought this little “off-brand” Nugget for my classroom, despite going over budget, and I’m so glad I did. The packaging was magical. Once I managed to wrestle the plastic off of each piece, it quickly started filling up with air and taking shape. One pillow piece lagged behind and I thought it was going to look a little wonky, but by the next day it looked great! This thing is super comfortable and the fabric seems durable. It hasn’t gotten dirty yet, and with it being a Kindergarten classroom I’m sure it’s only a matter of time, but it seems like it will clean up easily. ... show more

I researched a lot of foam play sets for my toddler and “settled” on this one. I debated between this one and the Nugget. I decided on the play gym because the pieces looked more fun, and seemed like it had more building options. Once it arrived and I opened it up, it did not take long for it to expand to the full size. I purchased this with the intentions to give to my toddler for Christmas. But once it expanded, I had to give it to her right away! And she has absolutely loved it! It fits in her play space perfectly. I wish it had an adult size because I would buy one for myself! The quality was definitely better than I thought it would be. 100% worth the investment. Compared to the popular nugget the foam isn’t quite as rigid and the material of the cover isn’t as soft, but it’s not like my 18m old is noticing the differences so it gets the job done. I purchased this for $128 which is almost half the price of the nugget, but I see that the price has risen significantly. It may have to do with the fact that Costco picked up this brand. If it was still $128 I would buy a second set to add more variations to the setup, but if the price is this close to the nugget, I may just pay a little more for the higher quality. ... show more

My 3 and 5 year old enjoy it and it’s a great nugget dupe. My main complaints are that the corners of the foam never fully expanded after being vacuum sealed. It’s been over a month and the corners are still smooshed in. The other issue is that the fabric also seems to have permanent marks or wrinkles where it wasn’t smooth when it was vacuum packed. Save yourself the money and buy this one instead of a Nugget. It is EXACTLY the same! It’s fairly high quality and the fabric brushes microfiber is great for hiding stains. My daughter is trying to climb and crawl now and she absolutely loves climbing all over it. The cushions are great because they make it super easy for her to pull to stand. Wishes: — Waterproof cover — my daughter drools a lot because of teething and I can’t imagine it’s not soaking through into the foam, which will smell after a while. — Sell replacement cover options! I have to wash the covers at least once a week and she can’t use it at all while I’m washing them. I wish there was a second cover I could change it into when I’m washing. — Prepare for a wrestling match getting the foam back into the covers after washing! 🥵 — I wish the zippers were the thicker, higher quality. I was just waiting for one to break as I was wrestling the foam back into the covers after washing for the first time.
