Bought this little “off-brand” Nugget for my classroom, despite going over budget, and I’m so glad I did. The packaging was magical. Once I managed to wrestle the plastic off of each piece, it quickly started filling up with air and taking shape. One pillow piece lagged behind and I thought it was going to look a little wonky, but by the next day it looked great! This thing is super comfortable and the fabric seems durable. I researched a lot of foam play sets for my toddler and “settled” on this one. I debated between this one and the Nugget. I decided on the play gym because the pieces looked more fun, and seemed like it had more building options. Once it arrived and I opened it up, it did not take long for it to expand to the full size. I purchased this with the intentions to give to my toddler for Christmas. But once it expanded, I had to give it to her right away! And she has absolutely loved it! It fits in her play space perfectly. I wish it had an adult size because I would buy one for myself! The quality was definitely better than I thought it would be. 100% worth the investment. I'm really impressed with the quality. After opening the cushions expanded fully in a day or two. They are soft but still sturdy. I've changed the configuration a few times already and there are a ton of possibilities. My one year old loves it and I hope we can use it for many years to come.

I noticed the name brand has slightly denser foam. This foam took about a day to inflate fully, and you have to make sure the fabric is smoothed out well for a good inflation. Despite that, this play couch is just as good in every way, and the price is great. The fabric is comparable to the nugget's double brushed microsuede. Though the color choices are limited, I would buy this over the name brand if I had to choose again. Things that are definitely better than the nugget: the added pocket on the side of the large cushion is great for storing small items. Additionally, I like that when we're ready to put these away, the handles are the same fabric and blend into the cushion so there's no weird eyesore of a handle to hide. I ordered this brand on prime day when there was a significant sale. Only one color I wanted was available so I only bought one. It came in a large brown box, opened it and the inside package had the Sam's club Member's Mark sticker on it. Thought it was odd but whatever. I saw another review that mentioned the same sticker. Opened it, things are fine. I wanted another couch but the price went back up. Thought I'd buy the second color from Sam's and it came in the same big brown box with the same Sam's Members Mark sticker on it. They're literally selling Sam's club couches for a much higher price. That said, I am happy with the quality. As other reviews have said, the triangle pillows didn't fluff up quickly as the other shapes, but I just unzipped the cover and kind of pulled the pillow up where it needed to go. All the pillows and cushions fluffed up without problem. One of the couches did have a very strong smell for a week or so but it went away. My kids love them and they build forts and are getting some good play time in them. ... show more

I’m leaving a review of the play gym since there weren’t very many of them. I bought this for our 14month old for Christmas, and she is going to lose her mind over this! She is obsessed with climbing, which is why I went with the gym option. The color is a beautiful soft green/grey that won’t be too ‘loud’ looking, and the backs of the triangle “slide” pieces are a nice quality faux leather material, which was a nice surprise. It all expanded nicely as soon as an unwrapped it (photos were taken ~5 minutes after opening). Christmas is still a week a hand away, but I know she’s going to be obsessed! ... show more

Let me start by saying that the Yourigami couch is not in any way bad, this is just an observation that it is not same as the Nugget like many here are saying. The Nugget is thicker and slightly bigger than the Yourigami couch. You can see in the pictures that the Nugget triangular pillow (beige color) is larger and has rounded edges unlike the Yourigami (grey). Also, when I purchased the Nugget it got to its original size and no wrinkles within an hour, but the Yourigami as you can see is still wrinkly after 24 hours of being open. But, on the instructions they did say it takes about 48 hours - 2/3 weeks so there’s still time. One thing that I will say is that if you have the Nugget and want to get another one to build more things to play, Yourigami may not be a good option because of its size. Although it’s slightly smaller, when you build something it is not balanced out and my toddler fell numerous times because it’s 2 different couches. But if you don’t own the Nugget, this is a great option at much cheaper price, and you wouldn’t know the difference unless it’s side by side. You get the same experience so take that in to consideration. The only reason to pass would be that it’s not the same size and also they don’t have any cover options if you want to buy that separately. UPDATE: After owning the Yourigami couch for a week I decided that I made a mistake getting it 😓 it really doesn’t hold any build because the foam is too squishy. It doesn’t work with the original Nugget because the size is different, and it’s pretty much useless for a toddler for plays. I can see smaller kids (babies) playing on it or it just acting like a couch. But if you want to do builds, and create anything other than a couch it’s useless. Even when you use it just like a couch it’s not good quality. It’s still wrinkly and the foam seems to sink. Now I can’t even return and so that means money down the drain.
