I bought this because our Nugget fort needed a door and it has been perfect! My daughter is currently obsessed with Frozen so I use this to create a life size castle for her :) She’s 3 and loves it! Her older sister (11 years old) will join in and also fits through the door. It is more thin than the nugget, which would make it more wobbly if you’re trying to set it up by itself in the middle of the room, however, we always use it with the Nugget which keeps it sturdy. We got this for our 20 month old for Christmas and we love it! It can be arranged in so many different ways for different types of play. The cushions are comfy but firm enough to create a stable play surface or arrange in different shapes. It seems like the covers will be easy to take off and wash although I haven’t yet tried either - each cushion cover fully unzips around the edge and seems like it will be easy to remove the cushions for cleaning and replace them when done. ... show more

I was not expecting this couch to be so big! It's firm and easy to build with and seems high quality. However I have 2 cons. 1. The pieces are very heavy. Even me as a 23 year old woman have trouble lifting it and moving it from room to room so my 4 year old boy ask me for help with building because it's hard to pick up. 2. It is super firm. Which is great for building but not great for laying on. I tried to lay on it while watching TV and it was rock solid and soooo uncomfortable. It was as solid as sleeping on the floor. I still gave it four stars because my 4 year old and my 7 month old love it and it definitely doesn't seem like it's going to fall apart. I'd say it's worth it when it's on sale but maybe not worth the full $200. ... show more

We took advantage of a great sale during October 2023 and we do not regret it! It does take a full 24 to 48 hours to completely inflate from being in the box but don’t fear! It might be a little more firm than the nugget but even this 30 year old woman loves sitting on it. I also think that it is easier to put the covers on than the nugget. This was my 3 year old’s big Christmas gift and I’m SO glad we got it! We’ve built countless different forts, slides, “somersault ramps”, and towers for big energy play (a life saver during all of this cold snowy weather) and he has also had so much creative play from ice cream shops to a kitchen to ski ball. Endless possibilities of fun (and dare I say better than the nugget). I haven’t washed the cover yet but I’m glad it is machine washable. I noticed the name brand has slightly denser foam. This foam took about a day to inflate fully, and you have to make sure the fabric is smoothed out well for a good inflation. Despite that, this play couch is just as good in every way, and the price is great. The fabric is comparable to the nugget's double brushed microsuede. Though the color choices are limited, I would buy this over the name brand if I had to choose again. Things that are definitely better than the nugget: the added pocket on the side of the large cushion is great for storing small items. Additionally, I like that when we're ready to put these away, the handles are the same fabric and blend into the cushion so there's no weird eyesore of a handle to hide. It's more aesthetically pleasing and purposefully designed in comparison. ... show more

I ordered this in gray and received green. Not hideous but not what I ordered and it was too late to ship back in time since it was a gift. That said, the item initially appears to be of good quality, although the cushion itself is much thinner than I expected as referenced above. I ordered the castle cushion in gray to match some similar play/fort cushions we had for the kids. I had a set with one thick and one thin with two triangular pieces. I thought this was equivalent to the thicker one but it instead matches the thin. The thinner one with that set blew out a zipper after about a year and had to be thrown out. ... show more
