I was really impressed by the quality of this wool comforter. Not what I was expecting, and I was hesitant to make the purchase. I purchased it to go inside a flannel duvet cover in our rooftop tent. I am just too old to sleep in sleeping bags; I much prefer sleeping in real bedding that can be washed after use. I also do not like to sleep in anything synthetic (I guess this makes me a bit of a princess, but my body feels icky if it sleeps on polyester). This is lightweight, but warm! And the thread count on the cover is no joke. It has that awesome crinkle/crunch sound from high thread-count cotton percale. And since the wool is gusseted, there is no shifting. This is a blanket that I will purchase again (just as soon as I can justify it). I would have no qualms using this as a stand-alone comforter on top of the beds in my homes. It just looks elegant and crisp. I did wash it before first use. It went through the regular wash cycle and dry cycle with no issue. It really fluffed up after washed (it arrived very compressed). There was minimal lint in the tray, so thing escaped. Overall, just really well made and I can't wait for another excuse to buy it in a different color!

Bought twice, once as used, so it was cheaper and the second for my teacher who is in town. Both expressed great satisfaction on the quality and warmth of the material. Only thing is if no used, it is on the expensive side but I guess you get what you pay for. Like others said, no funny smell for those very sensitive to smell. Bought a cover to go with it. Nothing but high satisfaction and it looks so good and easy to fold after use. 100% sheep wool. No polyester and what not.

I love this wool duvet! Great for anyone but especially if you get hot flashes! It naturally keeps me comfortable; not hot or cold! It’s soft and is of medium weight. I’m still searching for an organic duvet cover for it. It’s white so it really needs a cover so it lasts a very long time. The organic cover I have isn’t breathable so I just lay it on top and at night fold it down at my feet or I still get hot flashes.

I’ve been using the comforter for a few weeks now. A good weight for those that like a colder room with warm blankets. The ‘temperature regulation’ and breathable properties of wool do seem to work. Purchased this and a down comforter to replace an old down and have preferred the wool. The only downside is this moves around on the bed more than down. Uncertain if that’s the cover material, weight, etc. But it’s a minor inconvenience.

I was getting ready to replace my down comforter with another down one when I discovered wool comforters. My husband runs hot while I run cold, so we've had difficulty finding a comforter that would work for both of us and inevitably the down ones we've used wouldn't quite work for both of us or would start shedding feathers. Then I learned about wool ones and they sounded perfect, but they are so expensive! Luckily, Amazon had this one that seemed reasonably priced and checked all of the boxes for being 100% Australian wool and the size and weight I wanted. And I am happy to say, I LOVE this comforter! I love it so much I want to gift it to friends and family. The outer covering is so soft and the comforter itself is really cozy. We've been using the comforter for 4 months now, and my husband and I both agree that the comforter keeps us warm, but not too warm. I'm never going back to down!

This all-season comforter is well-constructed has a soft, cotton covering. The wool filling is sewn into baffles to hold the wool in place and is very a comfortable weight. My old goose down comforter was worn out and I decided to try a wool comforter instead. I enjoy natural fibers whenever possible so I'm giving this a try and so far, it has been awesome. It has been placed inside a duvet cover to keep it like new.

Don't be fooled by thickness! This duvet provides optimum heat with minimum weight and bulk. I was very skeptical when I received it and thought I'd send it back in no time, but decided to give it a try for a couple of nights! It's bliss! Minimum (if any) allergens. Placed it in a duvet cover, later added a flat sheet - it's heaven! Maybe not enough for Midwestern winters, depending on the thermostat, but this totally rocks the Pacific NW winters! You won't be disappointed.

I love this product. It is light weight yet is warm and cozy all times of the year. However, I don't know if it was me or whether the seller didn't get it right. But I ordered a dark gray and received a white comforter. I am disabled and returns and the lack of surety that I did order correctly make it too difficult to handle, so I will keep the white even thought that is more cleanings than I care to undergo. The product is great and delivers its promises. But, go slow and double check that your order is what you believe it is. Maybe even take a screen shot.
