My husband and I had a down alternative comforter before this, and were looking for something to keep us a little warmer in the winter. This has been amazing. It keeps our temperature perfect, not too hot or too cold, definitely better quality than we have had previously. It has a nice weight to it, without being too heavy. I was worried about a weird smell since it is wool, but it doesn’t have a smell at all. I bought a bamboo duvet cover for it, and our bed is so soft and luxurious now!

My 90-something year old mom wanted a new wool blanket and she keeps getting he sheets all langled b/c she doesn't see well and it's worse the middle of the night. We got this blanket to replace the old ripped comforter and the sheet so she uses it as a duvet only. So far it's wonderful. It says lightweight and it is summer right now but it can get breezy in the night with the AC going off and on. I don't know if it will be enough in the winter but that's for another day.

I was prepping my bed for a return from major surgery and wanted to start fresh with new linens. This is to replace a very heavy king size comforter. My wife was concerned about warmth as she loved the heaviness of the old comforter. This comforter is light weight, but it doesn't detract from its warmth. The reviews from the Kiwi's and Aussie's are right, wool vs down is the way to go. The coverage is uniform, vs clumps here and there. Plus, there is no order. A great value.

shell feels stiff and flat, blanket is surprisingly thin (I ordered the all season medium fill). It is so thin that it provides no warmth at all, makes me wonder if they accidentally shipped me a light fill summer blanket. it is the middle of the summer and i am getting cold during the night and having to double up the duvet... will probably have to buy an additional blanket come winter.
