I am on my second pair. The reviewers who claim they get stiff or dry out clearly do not know that quality leather must be oiled and conditioned. It’s simply part of the maintenance of any tool. I use mink oil paste to condition them about once a month (or when I think about it). The worn, brown pair of gloves in the picture have been protecting my hands for over a year with farm type work. Digging holes, driving a tractor, moving dirt, etc. I have put these gloves through the paces. They are pricey but a great quality. If you take care of them, they will last many years and remain comfortable. My old gloves are still good but it was time to buy a new pair so I did. I’m keeping them for truck gloves. Before I started using these gloves, I would go through gloves a pair as month. Wearing holes and such. These gloves last me 5-6 months before I break through them. The double leather on the finger tips and palm area really help them last. True fit, and after a short while they form to hand very well. I work in forestry and trimming/removing trees. These gloves lasted 6 months until a log got loose and the rope burned a hole in one finger. I’m picky, so I immediately ordered another pair. I've bought 6 pairs of these and they are the best quality leather gloves I've ever owned. BUT, I've always paid $31. Now I'm looking to get another pair but $50..........Come on. The pandemic couldn't have effected the cost this much.

Good quality gloves for ground work. Better to get the kevlar ones. However these do the trick. However be weary if you find yourself in wet weather. These will shrink to your hands. And are like getting a wetsuit off. Do with that info what you will.

I trim horses feet and sharp rasps etc are very tough on gloves. I have given some good reviews on gloves only to be disappointed that they did not last long at all before holes started to develop in the fingers etc. I started searching for a nice leather glove, preferably goatskin, that had double finger protections. THIS GLOVE NOT ONLY HAS THAT, BUT IS ALSO VERY COMFORTABLE. I have used this glove for several months and the fingers are still in GREAT shape. These are slightly more pricey than others - but well worth it!! Bought a pair for my partner in the farm, Steph, and she loves them also.
