    • Worked great for first time engine rebuild..
Having to make the best out of a bad situation and rebuild an engine in a 20 year old car I lent out to people who brought it back to me with a spun bearing.. Who can afford to buy a new engine these days nonetheless in new car.. This is the best time then ever to learn how to rebuild an engine myself. Had to order new rings and bearings had to learn to polish the crank myself and hone the cylinders myself. This little tool along with some mineral spirits in a squirt bottle made it pretty effortless. And the cylinders look great. With the proper cross hatching.. Can't wait to hear this thing run!!. A little advice for the next guy don't pull the hone out while the drill is still spinning it will bend the shaft. The hone will still work but it'll wobble your elbows off. Stop the drill compress the hone tool and take out gently so you don't scratch the cylinders on the way out.. Hope this helps.. ... show more

    • stone came unglued but Yotoo sent another whole tool under warranty
It worked well enough until when I was finishing the basic hone of the sixth cylinder one of the stones came loose. But Yotoo is sending another whole tool .That is great customer service !

    • Product durable stones weren't spectacular but did the job
It did the job the quality of the product was great except the stones. I choose this hone with the longer stones to use on a 2 smoker cylinder. It reached across the intake an exhaust ports with ease and no issues. The stones were shot after one minor hone job but all in all im satisfied for what i paid an just need to replace the stones before the next one. ... show more

    • Great hone for the money!
This hone worked great. I honed four cylinders with it and it did the last cylinder just as well as the first one. I'm not sure how long it will last but if you are needing to only do a couple of engines it is well worth the purchase. It is not a high speed hone. I believe this is why some people are having problems with the hone coming a part. I used a cordless drill with a speed of approx. 150 rpm it gave a great finish on the cylinders. ... show more

Used this to hone two 400ex cylinders and it worked great. No issues, some other reviews state the honing blocks may fall off but mine seem pretty well attached.

    • Worked great for 6 cylinders but the stones were worn out before I did the last 2 cylinders.
The item looked good and worked good for about 2/3 of the job-but the stones were so thin by then that I was afraid to try to do the last 2 cylinders--I will have to buy new stones for which cost more than the original tool.

    • A very good tool to have in the toolbox.
My brother in law has an old style cylinder hone that has a twist knob on the end to adjust tension on the stones. There are no springs. It’s a pain to use. I bought this one for me to use because this is the kind I was taught to use, it works great. Does everything I expected it to and then some.
