You'd best have two people to help you finish the project though as it was a little wonky holding the shelves and top together by myself. Can I give -5 stars? If you want the world’s biggest nightmare plus a day wasted this is the project for you. Wood warped, doesn’t actually fit together, flimsy, missing screws, doesn’t have the holes pre drill and when they are they don’t align at all. They want me to pay to ship it back when I’ve already wasted money and time trying to put it together to only to find out it doesn’t stand up and it broke collapsing in on itself when I tried.. it’s paper thin, unfinished and just a pice of garbage. Save yourself the time and money, an ikea shelf would be of better quality for less money ... show more

This is an unfinished wood furniture piece. The product pictures show a glossy finish on the piece which is not the case. There were some mistakes when they were drilling the assembly holes. It is patched with wood filler, and also had left wood filler on the surface of some of the pieces outside of the patch. I will have to do my own patching for some dings and scratches on the softwood and then finish with a clear top coat. The price is fine but this will take a lot of extra work to make it resemble the images in the product listing. ... show more

Top quality solid wood, this unit feels incredibly sturdy and durable. Unlike cheaper particleboard alternatives, it can accommodate moderately heavy items and features reinforced panels that prevent wobbling. The two bottom drawers allow for additional storage like loose items like cords, stationery, or toys. The 8 open cubes provide ample storage space to display books, plants, and decor.
