These seem like a great deal, and they are. But I am concerned about their reliability issues. I installed these late winter in Vermont, where it is plenty cold. They seemed to hold up well with no issues. But after a few months, I noticed the “C-Lights” in my Subaru were pulsating. This was due to one of the LEDs flickering on and off. Replaced the bulb with a new one, and sure enough 3 months later, they’re all having issues. I did checks on all of the bulbs, and they all fail due to poor connections. Every bulb had one or more of the LEDs had issues staying lit... I ended up “re-bulbing” my entire WRX with LEDS from Diode Dyamics. It’s been a bit, and no issues with one of my lights! UPDATE! Yorkim contacted me in the fall regarding my failures of these bulbs. They ended up sending a full replacement pack. But even with new bulbs, these bulbs are junk. You’re lucky to get 30 days before one of the diodes starts flickering. Just spend a more on BETTER QUALITY! These are NOT good quality. ... show more

Wow these are bright! NORAD just called, they thought they spied a nuclear explosion! Seriously though, they are definitely bright! The interior of my truck is light up like I'm about to be abducted by little green men. I now can see things in my truck that I had trouble with with the stock lights. I never knew my carpets were that dirty, and that's where that french fry I dropped back in '10 went..... IF you want to light up your car, these are the lights to get. Just make sure you're wearing a welding mask when inserting them! Now.... on to find a good carpet cleaner..... ... show more

After installing them in my 15' Camry, in less than 3 months my trunk, license plate & door courtesy lights began flickering and upon loser inspection I found out that a couple of the individual SMD leds were dead. I am disappointed w/ the "Top Amazon Reviewers" who praise such an inferior product. I bought another set from Yorkim (hoping I got a faulty batch) and experienced a similar dilema I decided to replace them with some 194 leds from a reputable company called VLED. I got their 194/T10 6K White 160lm led. They cost more but the performance difference btw these and the set I got from them is night & day. Plus the company is based here in the US; thus, they can be reached by phone or email if one has any issues. I have posted pics comparing VLED's 194 led to Yorkim's *** UPDATE 01/24/2015 *** It has been over a year now and not one of the LEDs I got from VLED has ever flickered. Thus, I stand by my review above about the quality issues with the Yorkims. Now if you go to the VLED site, you will find that their products are on the pricey side (although they are of top quality), so I have tested another brand of LEDs that I got off Amazon and liked very much and are cheaper. I recommend the Phillips T10 194 LED. As of this writing, they are $13.50/pair but I was able to find them from my local Pep Boys at $10/pair. Hope you find this review helpful ... show more

    • Fits Gen 2 Prius and Older Camry license plate light enclosures. Look great!

After ordering a set of LED lights which looked great but were too long to fit, back I came to Amazon with a unique idea: measure the available space! WOW! Who knew? So the problem was the depth that's available between the bulb socket base and the end of the light enclosure, which for the 2007 Gen 2 Prius and the older 2002 Camry, is pretty shallow. It turned out. Heh. A charming thing about these two vehicles is that neither one have an access door which can be easily opened and closed to service the license plate lights. One has to pull off the entire cover of the hatch or the trunk lid, respectively. Then once that's pulled off and you get to the bulb sockets then find out that the lights you bought which were described as "Door, dome, and license plate lights" actually doesn't mean YOUR license plate lights... there's going to be awhile before you can put it all back together or you're going to have part of the car pulled apart awhile. Hilarious! Enter the Yorkim 194 LED Bulbs to the rescue! Packed in a nice five-per-side tray, these little gems fit and are a bright pure white, worked the first time in the Prius without having to hassle polarity. In the Camry I got 2 out of 2 wrong, so we're even. As others have observed, just turn 'em 180 degrees and you'll be good. Of course make sure they're working right before putting everything back together. :) If you've recently run into a 'this-light's-too-long-for my-Prius and-Camry' problem, or wish to avoid it altogether, just scoop up a 10-pack of these Yorkim 194 LED Bulbs, confidently knowing that you'll soon be glowing happily into that good night, and doing it without the worry of a traffic stop for having no functioning plate lights, which is a moving violation in these parts!
