These are exactly what I wanted to hold some LED Halloween candles but they were just a tiny bit too large. The candles that I purchased would not stand up in these holders so I gad to return them. I would highly recommend these candlestick holders for a different candle.

These candle holders are okay. They are not as sturdy as the pictures and description would lead you to believe. They fit taper candles well. If using a pillar candle (large round) candle like shown in pictures it will NOT be stable enough to move around with the "handle". You can try a pillar candle but I would sit the candle on the holder and not move it. I did not have a pillar candle to try but did sit a 2.5" round jar on the holder to simulate a pillar candle and it sit on the holder. If it were a pillar candle with a real fire flame I would not use these holders. Again it does hold taper candles well. ... show more
