I was looking for an affordable bookshelf that wouldn’t be too large or bulky for the limited available space in my living room - and this was perfect! Great for small spaces, but still fits plenty of books as you can see in my picture. Height-wise, I’m just shy of 5’4” and it comes up to about my underbust. We did not do the wall anchor thing, and it is a *tad* wobbly at times even with heavier books at the bottom. But still decently sturdy & good quality, especially for the price. This took my husband about an hour to assemble, but said once got the pattern it made sense. His critique is that the instructions weren’t as clear as he prefers and there were a lot of extra parts, so it was a little confusing. This was NOT the easiest to put together. I had to find a YouTube video because the instructions are awful. However, once it was started, finishing was easy. It’s very sturdy and holds a lot of books. I love the unique design too.

Pros: wasn’t difficult to put together, me and my 7 year old did it, feels really good quality for the price point, impressed Cons: a bit small for kids books… but we made it work so we don’t have to run upstairs every night to get books for him to read to us for his 2nd grade homework

I was honestly expecting it to be a lot less rigid given the price. To my surprise, it is VERY solid. I filled it up with all of my books and it really hasn't sagged forward. Instructions were clear and all of the tools needed to set it all up was also included. Great product!

Bought this due to having several stacks of books on the floor in a small space. I am not good at putting things together and, frankly, dreaded having to do this myself. It definitely took me a while to put it together but but the instructions were good enough that I was able to do it with only a couple of missteps along the way. If you are good at putting things together & have your own tools this may only take you maybe 30min. Took me a couple of hours because there are a lot of boards and screws and I am inexperienced and had to take part of it apart after I made a mistake and start again. However, it came out well and I am pleased enough that I am buying another one! There were no missing parts and I am very happy with the way it looks and with how many books it holds. ... show more

I think the video worth watching to have an idea of how to assemble it. I only watched it once But to be honest if you follow the assembly instruction form you can do it Make sure not to tighten the hole until you align the part correctly. Overall I assemble it on a day. Pretty sturdy!
