I love these so much! My mom let me write this review, so I will give you my insight on it. So, the pens themselves are a little big in terms of length. However, I really don't mind because I think it adds to the lightsaber effect. The colors are sleek, actually, and shiny. The quality and durability are both equally good. I can write easily with them, but the ink is normal. I am obsessed with Star Wars maybe a little unhealthy obsession, so having these is so fun!!! I am glad to have this as part of my collection. For 10 dollars, this is so worth my mom's money. I would totally recommend this for others, especially if you are like me and love Star Wars!

These are authentic Star Wars novelty pens, and they’re definitely more about the fun factor than being an amazing pen. Don’t get overly excited expecting them to light up or make a cool lightsaber “whooshing” sound—they’re simply standard ink pens that write well. That said, the Star Wars designs are really fun, and I’m sure just about any Star Wars fan would enjoy having these on their desk or in their collection simply for the novelty. The colored “lightsaber” ends make each pen a fun individual gift, especially if you know someone’s favorite character. The bottom portion of the grip has a textured surface that feels comfortable in your hand while writing. They write just fine and function like an ordinary ink pen, but the character-themed design is what makes them special. My biggest disappointment is the cap. It does not fit onto the back of the pen while you’re using it, so you have to set it aside while writing. That’s a small thing, but for roughly $2.50 per pen, I guess I expected a little more. Overall, these are cute novelty pens that would make fun little gifts or stocking stuffers for Star Wars fans. Just keep your expectations realistic—you’re paying for the Star Wars novelty and design, not fancy pen features. One thing I do want to mention in their favor is that YOOBI donates items to the Kids In Need Foundation, which I think is a really commendable thing for a company to do. For a die-hard Star Wars fan, these are a fun little gift. For someone looking for a high-quality everyday pen, there are better options for the price.

We've got a few Star Wars fans in the family, so when I saw this pack come through it was an easy grab, didn't even have to think twice about it. Out of the box these look way better than I expected for a novelty pen. The hilt designs are detailed, not just cheap colored plastic tubes, and you get a nice spread of colors so everyone in the house has a favorite to claim as their own. They look good just sitting in a cup on the desk too. As for actual writing, I was surprised these hold up as daily pens. The ink lays down smooth and doesn't skip or bleed through paper, which honestly isn't a given with novelty stuff like this. Only gripe is the little cap on the tip, easy to lose if you're not careful and it's a bit of a hassle putting it back on every time you set the pen down. They don't light up or do anything flashy beyond looking the part, so don't go in expecting sound effects or glowing blades, just a good looking pen that happens to write well. For the price and the fact that it made a couple family members pretty happy, this was a win.

Star Wars fans will buy anything that is branded Star Wars (looks at self in the mirror). These pens look cool at a glance and they write pretty well too. But I felt like there were some questionable design choices. The caps are pretty basic plastic, and unfortunately one of them has already cracked. You would also think these are colored pens just because your brain says, hey red I bet you that's a red pen. Nope, they are all the same, black. Lastly, now I'm getting really picky, it would have been nice to have a small led in the pen. What's the point of a lightsaber that doesn't glow? All in all, a nice to have item if you or your family member is a hardcore fan. But curb expectations, there are other lightsaber pens that have the features I mentioned were missing.

I picked up this 4-pack of Yoobi lightsaber pens on Amazon, and they are easily the coolest addition to my desk setup. If you love fun stationery that doubles as a subtle collectible, you will love these. Right out of the package, the molded hilt designs look fantastic. They are nicely detailed to look like authentic lightsabers, rather than just cheap plastic tubes. The assortment includes a blue, red, green, and purple saber, so you get a great mix representing different Jedi and Sith characters. They look awesome sitting on a desk or clipped onto a pocket. As far as writing performance goes, they are surprisingly great daily drivers. They are 1.0mm medium-tip ballpoints that lay down solid, smooth black ink. They don’t stutter, skip, or bleed through standard notebook paper, which is a major win for novelty pens. The clear safety caps fit snugly over the tips to keep the ink from drying out when they are stored away. Another detail I love is Yoobi's give-back program mentioned on the box: for every item purchased, they donate school supplies to a child in need here in the US. It makes a fun, affordable purchase feel even better. Overall, whether you are buying these for back-to-school supplies, a coworker's gift, or just to show off your fandom during your own study sessions, they are an absolute blast to use!

These pens are so much fun! This 4 pack of star wars fans would make a great gift or fun desk item for amy Star Wars fan. The pens are capped and write very well. I like the balance of the pens but writing for long durations might be difficult for folks with smaller hands because the ones are fairly thick and have little edges where the light saber design requires. The colors look super nice, and these are unmistakable as anything other than light sabers. My only wish is that they kit up, but even without that they look super cool. Definitely recommend!

Yoobi x Star Wars Lightsaber Ballpoint Pens, Black Ink, Pack of 4 Cute pens. Black ink. They write well. The Star Wars design is fun. Good details in the hilt. The lightsaber shaft seems like a good quality plastic (acrylic?). Functionally, the caps are badly designed. They don't attach the the back of the pen when removed. So you have to set the cap on the table, separate from the pen. A retractable tip may have been a better option. Aesthetically, they are light-sabers. Focus on the word "light". I can't believe that any Star Wars fan is going to be happy about a lightsaber pen that doesn't actually light up. A tiny LED at the base of the shaft would make these awesome. So, even though I never expected them to light up, there's still just a little disappointment that they don't. Could be a fun DIY project.
