I wanted a lap desk for my Model X and my research boiled it down to 3 choices. This one, one from Jowua, and one from Tesery. I chose the Yonzee because it was a trifold so it packed down to a more manageable size and the the 2 folding sides lets it be used in a chair or bed, (but only if your skinny). It came with a very nice heavy duty carry case (no thin, cheap easily ripped nylon here!). But the main attraction is that the hinges are heavy duty and it stays open with NO sagging. It fits the center console and arm rest perfectly and has sold down supports for the front part of the center console that keeps it from being wobbly. Also has a cut out for the door handle that keeps it in place. It has stabilizing supports on all sides so it works on passenger side too without a wobble. The Tesery desk is a bifold and listed for the Model Y not X. I think that’s because it has no support legs for the lower front console on the Model X as the Y console is flat front to back. It looks like a good choice the Y. The Jowua works for the X (listed as compatible for all Models) but is more expensive at $90 and needs a $15 accessory kit. Not sure how stable it is since I hangs off the front of the hinged lid of the center console on the X. Maybe the accessory leg kit for the rear seats help w this?? Anyway, I’m very happy w the Yonzee for its price, trifold smaller pack size, and durable storage case. It’s rock solid with no sag or wobble and the built in folding supports sealed the deal.

I’ve been using this foldable tray for a bit now and overall I’m really happy with it. The carbon fiber finish looks clean and premium, and the surface area is surprisingly spacious — enough for a laptop, food, and a few extras without feeling cramped. For the price, it definitely feels like a great value. Pros: Very good price for what you get Sleek carbon fiber design, looks modern and clean Wide and practical surface area Easy to set up and fold away Lightweight but still feels sturdy enough for daily use Cons: It can make accessing the window buttons a bit tricky — you may need to slightly shift the tray, so just be careful not to tip anything on top In lap mode, I wish the clips had a locking mechanism, as they can sometimes open unintentionally Overall, it’s a very useful and well-designed product with just a couple of small things that could be improved. Still highly recommend it!

Got this for my sister as she always eats lunch during work in her car. I thought would've been really helpful for her, but she made me return it when I told her 50$. I still took it out of the box and put it together, and it seems great. Definitely sturdy, doesn't feel like it would give out or anything. Good size for a lunch, and to prop up your phone to watch something, or a laptop to get work done. The way it folds up is great for storage whe not using it. The price point does seem a little high, but I don't think you'll find anything with good quality for much cheaper. For her it just wasn't something she felt like she needed.

A great addition to my portable laptop desk. I don't have a Tesla but it works great in my ford fusion as well as on the arm rests of many padded chair arm wrests that are found in many homes and libraries. I love the versatility with the folding arms underneath.

It's just okay. When they say Carbon Edition it's still very much plastic and does not feel super premium at all. If you're okay with a basic plastic desk that smudges and gets oily very quickly, it gets the job done. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it just yet, but it does feel sturdy at least.

We love eating in the car and were having a hard time. Once this came into our life it was a game changer. Its so easy to use and stay put when installed. The tray is so big it makes you want to get more food to cover the space. Worth every penny for it.

The simplest thing, and yet it's one of the best items I've purchased for the car. I'm in sales, I travel in my car a lot, I can park a tablet, laptop, or even scoot the seat back and enjoy lunch. It's rugged, priced right, and has a wide enough space to do what you need, and not to mention the extra strut bar beneath it for allows you to adjust so it can be used on both sides, and the same strut keeps it balanced and stable enough you're not going to spill your drink or dump everything on your lap.

I have only used this once. I wish it was lighter and easier to store away in my car when I’m not using it. It’s so heavy and so big I have to store it in my trunk. So when I do need it I cannot get to it. Ugh. I do not recommend this item
