The housing seems solid. I had to take a dremel tool and open the lighter port up a little to get this to fit but that wasnt a problem. If it lasts, I will come back and give it 5 stars but we shall see.

It works great, but could be brighter. With the cover closed you can't see it in day light. It's still hard to see in daylight even with the cover open.

My boat came with a standard cigarette type 12V charger. I swapped it out for this one so i could charge phones without an adapter. I love that it displays voltage as well so i can keep track of battery health on my boat. Just a word of caution, the first one of these i bought only one of the USB ports worked. I ordered a replacement and it works perfectly. So test it out, and dont assume it's working just because it shows voltage ... show more
