The blue one advertises as 1.5 inches and the black one, the subject of this review, is advertised as 2 inches. The blue one was $40 with free shipping. The black one was $37 with free shipping. That should be enough to tell you who the blue one is sold by. You might see it on some exercise videos. Construction wise, both are supposed to be water proof and the foam padding seems to be of the same density. The stitching on the blue one is exposed all the way around, where the black one is turned inside, like a pillow case. I think the blue one may be more durable for that reason, but only time will tell. Either one will suit you fine for an exercise mat, just be aware of the advertised thickness. I wish it was the full 2 inches as advertised, which is why I bought it. ... show more

I am trying to get in shape by doing calisthenics like glute bridges on the floor. It was very painful till I got the mat. It is thick and cushiony enough to take away the pain without restricting movement. And it folds up easily and neatly to be tucked away when not in use.

It’s a great mat for the price, but it’s most likely MUCH smaller than you think. My daughter can’t even do a cartwheel across it because it’s not long enough. It’s DEFINITELY not wide enough either. I would buy two and put them next to eachother if you do end up buying it.
