You can believe the hype of this dress! I have bigger butt/legs with smaller breasts/waist, so this is the perfect cut for my body type—so flattering! Looks great, feels greats, great stretch, thick material! Length and fit were perfect for me (with heels). I loved that the material was thick and didn’t feel cheap or like it would show every bump. However, I do wear shapewear underneath and I think I sized up. It fits well and is just the right amount of stretch—not saggy or too tight. I like it for work events because it is fancy/flattering but modest enough. It’s also nice that the sleeves can be worn on the shoulders or off, or a mix. I can’t wait to wear it, it’s a perfect dress to have in your rotation. You can change it up with different jewelry for each wear because it’s just classic and flattering. I will probably get different colors for different seasons.

This dress feels more high quality than its price tag! The material is thick and feels satiny - not cheap or flimsy. The zipper was sturdy and didn’t catch on anything. It is VERY form fitting from ribs to hips, so I opted for shapewear underneath. But it was true to size - I’m a dress size 6-8 and a pant size 8-10, and a medium was perfect. At 5’2” I was worried about the length, but a 4” wedge heel made the dress just skim the ground in the front. It’s the perfect flattering shade of red for my skin tone too - buy it!

• I’m 4’10 short • 125-127lbs with a mom pooch • 34D chest size • pear shaped • Wearing high heels in all of the pictures shown, except the mirror pictures. I was barefoot in the mirror pictures. The dress was under my feet without heels, and barely touching the floor with 4 or 5 inch heels. I walked without stepping on the dress so that’s a huge plus. I’m definitely going to go get it hemmed just a couple inches, bc I love the long elegant look ❤️ Went to a church event, the back was a bit too revealing so I bought the white covering from Macys, & added the golden belt with white pearls . Wore gold heels, which you barely saw. Dress is super comfy, material is thick, please please PLEASE wear a girdle/shapewear. Many of the reviews make the dress look bad bc the women are not wearing shapers, THIS MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE. VERSATILE!! I wanted modesty so I wore the dress up & covering the shoulders, but it looks SO BEAUTIFUL with one shoulder showing. Or you can show both, beautiful either ways. Great quality, zipper was easy to zip to by myself, easy to slip in and out of , very breathable, and made my body shape look good. I don’t have a big bottom but this dress made me look like I have some junk in the trunk lol . I posted all the different angles of the dress , I wouldn’t recommend getting this dress! I didn’t face to iron or steam it, though I should have on the top part. But the packaging was great, neatly folded and not just thrown in the bag like other dresses from Amazon

I'm 5'4" 145 lbs and purchased the medium in black. While this size looked good on me and hugged all my curves in the right way, I felt like I had to constantly adjust the dress throughout the evening. I wanted the off the shoulder look, but it kept riding up, giving me the more covered up look. I was also disappointed in the length. I could not wear high heels because that made the dress too short and unflattering. I may try a large to get the longer length and more room for the off the shoulder look. Overall, I think this style is a wonderful economic choice for a black tie formal event. The style is very classy looking and material is thick (still recommend shapewear though).

This dress is comfortable and elegant. I received many compliments on the dress and color which was peacock. I spent time steaming the dress, but after my event I put the dress on delicate in my wash and dried it in my dryer and it came out perfect, so maybe try that instead. The material is like a stretchy polyester but looks like silk. I am 5’5 and wore 4 inch heals. I would say the dress runs true to size, and if you are larger in the chest, it is flattering.

I was pressed for time and needed a formal gown to attend a black tie affair 😩 I looked in many stores and couldn’t find what I wanted, especially since it is prom and graduation season 🥹 I never thought to look on Amazon for a formal gown but there it was the perfect black formal gown for me to wear to my event 😊 On a whim I selected my size according to the size guide and ordered it🤞🏽When it arrived the fit of the gown was perfect except it was a tad bit too long. I got it altered and it fit perfectly! I wore this dress to a prom themed fundraiser and it got rave reviews. For the price, the quality and fit can't be beat. I'm not sure what kind of fabric you'd call it, but it's thick and supportive feeling while also being stretchy and comfortable. After sitting for a couple of hours, there wasn't a single wrinkle. I'm 5'9, size 12 and the XL is just a tad too big, and could really stand to be about an inch shorter. This wasn't a deal breaker, but if I were to order it in another color, I might size down just to see if a L works better. I felt so glamorous in this dress!
