The product is nice, but the description should specify that it is a replacement for the missing rubber shifter boot. It won't fit with the existing rubber in place.

I put a 10 mm socket inside of the shift boot first then from there slid it onto the tusk shifter on the KLR. It did not go without a fight but it's like other things. You must spit on it first and it will go if you want it to. Then I trimmed the end off. Looks great now 😄

Was tired of cleaning the black marks from my left (white) sneaker. This worked well. This fit the shifter pedal on my FJR1300 perfectly.

    • Doesn't fit most bikes
I used a 1/2in drill to ream out the center of this pad in order to hammer it onto a Triumph Speedmaster. The results were half-fast, but the bottom line is that the discomfort of the gear shifter on the foot after a day of city driving was remedied.
