I bought this because of the thickness of the arms that support the foldout table. The table is awesome, but it can pinch your fingers if you lift the table from the middle. The smaller “support table” can wedge your hand against the surface you’re lifting up on. Despite my minor concerns with this table, the price is more than fair for the quality. The table is very well made. I was so thankful it came with all the tools and supplies I needed to put it together! It’s made of very nice wood/material and the instructions on how to put it together were easy to follow. The mechanism to pull/hold the table up is also really cool because when you go to put it back down, you don’t have to hold onto it so it doesn’t slam. It has a gentle catch so when you go to lower it, it will catch and then lower it gently and slowly on its own. Very nice!!! Everyone who comes to my apartment LOVES this table! I did have trouble locating my package due to the package being dropped off at a different apartment than mine, but when I reached out to the company about it, they were extremely nice and helpful! Thankfully I was able to locate it after looking down the halls of different floors of my apartment building. I am very satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend! ... show more

It is very versatile, sturdy and doesn't look cheap. It took us approx 2.5 hours to build it but it was much more straight forward than anticipated. The lift system works really great and is already pre-assembled. One advise -never lower the extended table on the side where the little extra table is..you easily can squeeze your fingers. ... show more

Very sturdy piece of furniture. Time consuming to put together, but not difficult. I have 4 starts because the finish is definitely going to start chipping off ate some use. When both sides are up the table is real enough to eat around with chairs.

    • Great coffee table, with one huge caveat
First things first: This is a nice coffee table. BUT... this product will take you on a hero's journey. It will make you question both your intelligence and your sanity. If you're putting this together with a friend or partner or family member, you will question your relationship. If you're putting this together with your dad, drop a piece of the wood on your toe. Break your foot. Pretend to have a seizure. Do anything you can to get out of putting this together with your dad. You'll need a strong man (or woman or non-binary person that always volunteered when teachers asked for a "strong guy" to move some chairs) to get the package into your place; this thing is HEAVY. Once you begin to put it together, you will go through the five stages of grief. You'll begin by naively thinking that the other reviewers were wrong. It's a table, how hard could it be? As time goes on, you'll begin to realize that we were right. You will HATE this coffee table. You will be filled with so much regret and rage that you won't be able to think of anything else. You may give in and decide to return it. Or you may steel yourself and begin to climb Mount Doom. To those who decide to put this coffee table together, against all odds: I believe in you. This is your moment. This is character-building. This is your origin story. You will contort your body into demonic, godforsaken positions to screw in the tiniest screws you have ever seen in your life. You will be shocked by the sheer weight of each hunk of wood; Beatrice Kiddo herself couldn't punch her way through a single piece of it. You will repeatedly misplace the stupid little tool that comes with all the stupid little screws. Your living room floor will be strewn with a bunch of big pieces of wood and tons of those stupid little screws. You will not have enough space to do this. You should have rented out a gymnasium. Once you have yelled and cursed and wiped your brow and finally succeeded (I knew you could do it!), look at the fruits of your labor. That'll do, pig. It really is a lovely coffee table.     • FIBER GLASS everywhere!!!
The table itself and functionality is great but the package had so much fiberglass everywhere, in between the packaging, on the boxes, on the boards… everywhere!! I put it together outside and made sure it was wiped down and cleaned off. Don’t recommend if you don’t have space outside to put together. ... show more
